ZOX Brain Training Program

The brain is still a part that holds a lot of secrets, because most people don’t know how to use it properly and the power it have once they start to use it through braintraining.
It will only take 10 minutes a day to find out how to train your brain to get the most out of it and discover natural talents and abilities that will make your life a lot easier and take it to the next level.
One of the great benefits is speed reading; you will be able to read 100 times faster than average, using what is called Mental Photography. You will use your photographic memory in a way that you’lll take in information like the shutter of a camera. In stead of reading a page, your eyes will scan the page and you know just as much, or even more, then after reading the page. That is not all, you will also remember more, even after 48 hours. You use the same part of your brain that is also used for the law of attraction. Once you start using it, you will put the powers of manifestation into overdrive.
Everybody have the capability to do this, you only need to learn how to use it. But that is not all, you’ll also become more productive from being more organized and having maximum concentration. In stead of working harder, you will work smarter, achieving more in less time. And you will be able to reduce stress and limit the hours you sleep, having more time to spend on your private life, for instance with your family. As you learn how to improve your life, you will also learn how to boost your self-esteem and confidence. When you learn how to use your sub-conscious mind, and apply the power of the law of attraction, the possibilities are absolutely UNLIMITED!
To make it all complete, you’ll also get a relaxation program to let go of all the daily stress, faster and easier than ever before, and to get the most out of your braintraining.

You will get more energy than you’ve had for a long time. The complete course consist of 8 modules, and 3 bonus products, including the ebook “The Law Of Attraction”. It will be a great help to accomplish the ZOX brain training program.

Some of these programs, however cannot be installed on a home computer and require that you do these exercises at the office of a medical provider. Most insurance companies will not pay for these brain training software programs. The cost of the software and the cost of the evaluation by the Cognitive Behavioral Specialist administering the programs are unfortunate barriers that make these non-pharmaceutical interventions for A.D.H.D. inaccessible to some of the adults and children who most need them.Studies performed on the effects of brain training have mostly showed improvement in ADHD’s inattentive symptoms but they have also shown that once you stop the training the improvements go away. Maybe the key is to just have adults and children with ADHD do 20 minutes of brain exercises daily. These brain-training exercises improve memory, IQ and concentration in people without ADHD as well. A search for ‘Brain Training Software’ will bring you to a variety of programs that improve attention and memory but beware, in the case of brain training software, all programs are not created equal. Beware of programs that cost substantially less than others. They may improve memory and attention but if completing them is impossible because of repetitiveness or poor design, any amount of money spent on them is money wasted. As we learn more about the brain’s plasticity and about software that improves memory and attention, we may discover that brain-training is a good idea of everyone. Hopefully, in the future, it will also be affordable for everyone. Many parents are surprised to learn that their child’s IQ score can actually be increased. After all, we were raised to believe that IQ was stagnant – that is, you are born with the IQ you’ll have throughout life. But in the 1990s, brain researchers discovered that the brain is actually capable of changing and regrowing the connections between brain cells. It’s these connections, or synapses, not the cells themselves, that actually increase the brain’s powers by increasing the number of viable paths for information.More paths also means faster routes for information to travel. This is good news for everyone – but especially for children with learning disabilities like ADD, Asperger’s, and dyslexia – because scientists have used special brain imaging technology to prove that better learners use more direct routes from point A to B when processing information. But how does a child learn to use the shorter, faster route? With “brain training.”While “brain training” is a relatively generic term, it can be differentiated from tutoring, which focuses on a specific academic subjects, such as math, English or history. While tutoring has its place (such as when a child falls behind in a particular subject due to an illness, injury or school transfer), it does not serve to increase the brain’s ability to learn in general. Brain training, on the other hand, works to improve a child’s cognitive skills.”Cognitive skills are the essential, but often overlooked fundamental tools of effective learning,” explains Dr. Ken Gibson, author of “Unlock the Einstein Inside: Applying New Brain Science to Wake Up the Smart in Your Child.” “Learning isn’t about how much you know, but how effectively you process or handle the information you receive. Cognitive skills are the mental mechanisms that process incoming information.”More specifically, cognitive skills enable children to successfully:

Brain Training – Why Bother?

Why bother with brain training? Why wouldn’t you bother with brain training? I believe that life is 90% mind set and as a result, if I could only train one thing it would be my brain. Our brain controls all our muscles, organs, it releases chemicals (that have long complex names) that control your feeling, it governs our perception of the world and there for our experience. Really life could even be 100% mindset, let’s stick to 90% for now.

As I have mentioned in my other articles on Life Coaching, Mind development and so on, I’m in life for a feeling, the feeling I enjoy the most is harmony. My definition of harmony is Feeling at peace with who I am being right now and therefore knowing that tomorrow will look after its self. When I am feeling harmony the whole world around benefits as a result. More than just my selfishness of wanting to feel good myself, at the same time want others to feel good and I have found that just like laughter, feelings spread. I would much rather spread harmony, happiness and love than fear anger and frustration.

I have trained my brain in many different ways over the years and I use this article as a medium to share my knowledge and experience to benefit you. I have completed memory courses, studied Christian philosophy, the yogi philosophy which both in their own ways convey ways, means and techniques to bring the mind body and sprit into harmony. And I say it in that order because I think unless your brain is geared in a way that is open and willing to learn and on top that able to process thoughts, feelings and emotions, you will be increasing limited to what you can experience on all levels.

I’d like to be able to say that I have the answer to solve everyones problems, “Here is my 14 step program to be perfect”.

For starters perfect in my opinion is an imagery state of being that humans have created. My approach rather than trying to “fix” people I teach people to be first content with what you have and to use what you have to the best of your ability, whilst being open to grow and learn.

I have spent many years of my life doing carpentry and there is no one tool that I can use to build and entire house. I can’t built an house with a hammer alone or just a saw I require several tools and even then what if someone wants a full brick home then my hammer and saw aren’t needed. When someone wants a full brick home I can choose to learn how to lay bricks or I can call in a brick layer. Either way I will be grateful that I can still do the doors and windows of the house and I will work with the brick layer to learn more about laying bricks because I like learning and increasing my skills. Which I now know is growth and half of the journey of being fulfilled.

One thing I have found that works for the majority of people that have done it for a period time… if you want to feel harmony, content, peaceful, fulfilled or the like give and grow in all area of your life.

A model for training the brain in any area that I have found endlessly useful is what I call the 4 Habit Model

Sub consciously incompetent – I don’t know that what I’m doing that isn’t working
Consciously incompetent – I know that what I’m doing isn’t working
Consciously competent – I now have change and concisely chose to do something that works for me
Sub consciously competent – I do what works for me without even thinking about it

I will give you an example of how I trained my brain with this tool. I decided that I wanted to give more smiles to people, because when people have smiled at me or made an extra effort to make me smile when I’m having a tough day, I really appreciate it, then in return I want to give that experience to others. Let’s apply this to the 4 Habit Model
Sub consciously incompetent – I didn’t know that wasn’t smiling as much as I could.
Consciously incompetent – I knew that I wasn’t smiling as much as I could.
Consciously competent – I now choose consciously to smile at people more often.
Sub consciously competent – I now smile almost all the time without even thinking about it.

I now have created a habit where I smile at almost every body. Does that work HELL YES!! I have increased my happiness because I smile more and smiles release those feel good chemicals. I help others increase their happiness by sharing a smile and then I feel even happier because I have helped brighten someone else’s day. Its good all round. Did this come naturally? No I don’t believe many things do. Let me explain. Most things even like smiling are a learnt habit, we simply forget when we learn it and when do we ever stop to think about it.

In my work as a Life Coach based in sunny Cronulla (Southern Sydney) I help people create the habits that work for them on a sub conscious level. I trust you have enjoyed and learnt something from this article. There are 4 more in this series or if you would like to find out more check out my website.

Brain Training and Fitness Program : Brain Training

Article by Amit Singh

Brain Training is already proving to be a great success even though it’s not your typical game seeing as there are no princesses to rescue from a castle, no cars to steal or aliens to hunt and kill. The game requires the use of the stylus and of course the DS touch screen. So if you want to tone your intellectual muscle, Brain Training is a fine way to get started.

The exercise is quick and easy challenges that aid stimulation of your brain. Brain training games have been demonstrated over time to be able to improve memory and attention. Brain training games have been shown to improve basic cognitive functions in randomized and controlled clinical trails. The Brain training games is designed by renowned neuroscientist to help exercise the brain to perform in a way that your concentration increases, your thinking becomes faster and smarter. Success is assured when you are able to use your brain maximally for you will be able to think constructive thoughts and shut out all destructive ones. It is of the greatest value to be able to think only that which will be beneficial. Training the brain requires thinking about your life and being determined to make the necessary changes to make things better for yourself. I prefer to think of the brain as a super computer. If you are not achieving the results that you want you always have the option of “re-programming” your “on-board computer.”

Brain training can take various forms and the easiest is brainwave entrainment. Using a variety of audio stimulation from isochronic tones to binaural beats, the ” brain training” is actually creating certain brain waves in your brain. You simply relax and listen. Memory exercises can be quick, simple techniques that give your brain the stimulation and charge it needs to stay sharp. Improve your brain power by taking the time to consciously give your mind the workout it needs! Improving memory has to do with diligent practice. If a person drops the practice of a memory training technique because it was “too hard”, he loses the technique because it wasn’t practiced long enough to become a permanent part of his memory training arsenal. The importance of such practice cannot be understated. A good memory training course should help the individual learn why certain techniques work exceedingly well for specific situations and not so well for others. Each encountered situation demands a different memory training technique.

Brain Training : Brain Training Games Shield You From Getting Disoriented and Less Sharp

There is a lot of research published on what seems to be the newest trend: brain training. And if there is a trend, you can be sure the trade is all over it as well. Now that is nothing new, but before you jump into the sea of brain training, you might want to do some water-testing. After all, training your brain does require a little of your time and I am sure you want your time well spent.

So what is brain training all about? You may have heard that our brain slowly goes downhill as we grow older. That is a fact you may have seen around you. Now the good news is you can train your brain to stay clear and sharp, so no loss of memory, no haziness, getting a little deaf and disoriented will occur to you. That is great news, and the best of it is, in my point of view, no pills to take for that either!

Training the brain is done with games, mostly. There are some practical things you can do to train your brain, but games are most efficient and kind of fun as well. No you must be sure not to focus on the fun too much. You should seek out websites, because the web is the place to find these games, that take brain training seriously and that are worth your time. Seek out a site that specializes in brain training games, not a big site that does some training games ‘on the side’. These sites want you to come back so they offer mainly fun games.

So you go to a specialized site where the game designers have read a bit about neuroscience. If they did, their games are more sophisticated and intelligent. Next you chose some games to play. Most fun are the games where you can use your already existing capabilities, but in this case this is not a good thing to do. You would not benefit from playing those games. Seek out games you are not good in at all. That way you stretch your mind to and over its limits, you give your brain a work out like with a physical training and that is just what your brain needs. Challenges, challenges. And one more thing: do not play for hours and then forget about it for the next two weeks. Treat brain training like physical training: short exercises, repeated every day – at best – give much more results.

Why Brain Training?

The brain needs care just like the body

New scientific research shows that we can improve the health and function of our brains with the right mental workouts. In a study funded by the National Institute of Health, scientists found that memory, reasoning and processing speed can be improved by brain training. Moreover, they found that cognitive improvements persisted for at least five years!

Brain Training For Complete Health

Habits are what guide many people through their day-to-day routines and brain training is something you can use to help you stay mentally focused and sharp.

Your brain is a very complicated organ. There are key elements that anyone can do to help the brain remain in the best mental state possible.

When you are performing the same activities on a daily basis, your brain can become lazy. Each day you may feel as though you are on autopilot and you might even forget some of the things you did throughout the day. Your brain might need some stimuli to stay in the best shape possible and this is something that you can easily do each day at home.

When you are beginning a brain fitness regimen you might find that it can be hard to focus and keep your attention. This is a barrier that you will need to overcome in order to introduce your brain to new activities. Once you overcome this barrier you will be able to begin to start improving brain health and this can help you to begin to improve things like memory, and even motor control.

When you are looking for the right exercise it can be important to tie in things that are also familiar. This can help you to begin training your brain with things that are not familiar and also familiar. This is a key to focus and this can help you ease into the transition of learning new things.

You also need a commitment to the exercises that you perform. If you only complete your exercises occasionally, you would not see the results that you would if you do them on a regular basis.

Setting a time each week to focus and concentrate on improving brain function can be a key to learning.

As you begin to see the right changes occurring in your brain function, you can reward yourself for these new skills that you have improved upon. Positive reinforcement can keep you on the right path and help you to stay focused to do more in the future. Your daily life may be improved significantly and you will be able to remember much more then ever before.

Brain training can help many people with improvement in the way their brain functions. It is never too early too start!

Improv and Brain Training

In today’s fast paced world there is nothing like improv comedy training to sharpen your mental skills. Who is the person whose ideas most often get heard, the man who sits in a meeting and thinks and ponders or the woman who jumps on the questions posed and comes up with an idea?

I am not saying either way produces a better idea, because in reality either method could be used to come up with the ultimate solution, or more likely the two will be combined to offer the best plan.

So how does one start to develop these skills? To start with, searching the internet one can find loads of information on improv comedy whether you are looking for books, articles, groups or anything else.

The beginnings of improv are a matter of debate, but most would point to Keith Johnstone, the creator of Theatre Sports, Viola Spolin, the “Grandmother of American Improv.” For two great reads on this subject, Johnstone’s “Impro: Improvisation and the Theater” and Spolin’s “Improvisation for the Theater” are chock full of exercises and information.

But for real experience, reading about improv is like watching a movie about taking a bath. You can’t get clean with the latter and you can’t get your hands dirty with actually getting into a workshop and putting yourself out there on the chopping block.

Some would say being on stage is the ultimate test of an improvisational actor, but most people aren’t looking for that level of exposure. And it is exposure. You have to be totally open to complete disaster, and be willing to embrace it and learn from it, if you are going to climb onto a stage. Therefore group work in workshops is probably the safest format for the average citizen looking to sharpen his or her mental skills.

Most improv is based on some sort of ‘game’ where the players are going to assume some sort of role and have random characteristics thrown at them and then they have to create something interesting out of it.

Being put on the spot gets your mental juices flowing, or you can just freeze. The difference is experience and the willingness to lay it on the line.

The first time you have a reaction from those around you, (which doesn’t necessarily have to be laughter, it could be groans or tears) you can become hooked and want to do it more and more. More traditional actors may welcome the scripted role, but I have found the freedom of improv to be exhilarating.

If this interests you at all, I would strongly urge you to go online and search for an improv workshop. You may be surprised to find one within short driving distance of your home, as many community colleges are embracing this new form of brain training.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 21, 2013

Syntermed, Inc., announced today that their SyncTool nuclear cardiology imaging software is being used in a large global clinical trial for the diagnosis of heart failure. The VISION-CRT trial, sponsored by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), a branch of the United Nations, involves heart failure patients in nine countries (Italy, Algeria, South Africa, Pakistan, India, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, and Vietnam). This study will include phase analysis for LV Dyssynchrony. SyncTool is a phase analysis software tool that analyzes the benefits of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) in heart failure patients.

SyncTool software is currently available for myocardial perfusion SPECT and PET, as well as, FDG-PET nuclear cardiology studies. Its inclusion in the global clinical trial underscores the flexibility of this technology for heart health around the world, said Michael Lee, CEO, Syntermed, Inc.

You cannot perform a 3-D or stress echo in all patients, adds Ernest V. Garcia, PhD, Director of Nuclear Cardiology R&D at Emory University and a principal investigator in the VISION-CRT trial. But all patients can undergo a nuclear cardiology gated SPECT study. The VISION-CRT clinical trial is designed to help improve the heart failure diagnosis in at-risk groups of people and to improve patient selection for cardiac resynchronization therapy. Given the morbidity and mortality from heart failure, as well as, the considerable resources that are used to diagnose and treat these patients, appropriate diagnosis and prognosis assessment are vital.

Emory University nuclear cardiology researchers have been at the forefront of research evaluating SPECT MPI versus Speckle Tracking Echocardiology (STE) for the diagnosis of heart failure. Ji Chen, PhD, Associate Professor of Radiology and Nuclear Cardiology R&D at Emory University says, Of all heart failure patients, about two-thirds of the patients getting CRT will benefit from that treatment yet one-third will not. Phase analysis of left ventricular dyssynchrony can help with two critical issues: First, how to select the right patient for CRT; and second, where to put the left ventricular lead. Studies show that the patients respond more favorably if the left ventricular lead is positioned in the right place.

About Syntermeds Advanced Cardiac Tools: Since 1999, Syntermed has added and refined advanced diagnostic software tools as part of the Emory Toolbox. SyncTool for phase analysis /LV Dyssynchrony has been proven to be more sensitive than TDI Echo to analyze LV Dyssynchrony. SyncTool analysis takes just one minute and uses the same data from perfusion studies. The reporting process can also be applied to any Gated SPECT MPI data set or previously stored image, and provides prognostic information from the 3D perfusion images about the presence and location of scar tissue. In addition to myocardial perfusion SPECT and PET studies, SyncTool can also be used with FDG-PET studies for patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy.

The technology for SyncTool is based on multi-harmonic phase analysis research originally developed by E.V. Garcia and J. Chen at Emory University. [Disclosure: Dr. Garcia, Dr. Chen and Emory University receive royalties from Syntermed for the licensed technologies. Additionally, Dr. Garcia and Emory University own equity in Syntermed. The terms of the arrangement have been reviewed and approved by Emory University in accordance with its conflict of interest policies.]

About Syntermed, Inc.: The Atlanta-based imaging and informatics software company serves nuclear cardiology and nuclear medicine labs with its quantification and decision support software analyzing SPECT and PET images of the heart and brain. Emory Toolbox 4.0 (now in its fourth generation), SmartReport (powered by Syntermed IDS), and Syntermed Live delivers improved workflow, new levels of efficiency, fewer clicks, fewer screens, and no redundant data entry. Emory Toolbox is one of the most widely applied methods of cardiac imaging. Syntermed Inc. was established in 1999; Michael Lee is the CEO and Ken VanTrain is President. Brain Training with Music

Music’s an important part of life, essential, even, for many. While styles and genres are often downplayed by detractors, all music has common and unique traits alike and its uses and applications are nearly limitless. Nothing quite lifts a bad mood like hearing a favorite song on the radio, for example; or hearing a certain tune may call back memories long forgotten of an important event or just the last time you heard the song played, summoning waves of nostalgia. Music’s not all about entertainment though, and the areas it has been put to use in are as varied as the countless types of music themselves, ranging from the obvious to the shocking.

War often inspires music, Jimi Hendrix’s catalog serving as a prime example, but few give pause to consider the role music has played in the eternal struggle of man against man. Ancient armies used to use horns and drums to signal each other across the field of battle long before walkie talkies or telegrams provided simple and easy communication and coordination of troops. Even today you can see the remnants of the war drums of eras past in the cadence calls and drumming that guides marching rhythms in today’s military displays and parade marches.

A lesser known unconventional use of music, though, lies in Music Ear Training, a method to improve linguistics skills and the ability to comprehend and learn language simply through music. Scientists are discovering that listening to a large variety of different lyrical music styles stimulates the centers of the brain responsible for language comprehension and acquisition. From infancy, childhood nursery rhymes and lullabies have an impact on forming the proper neural pathways in the brain that lead to the ability to pick up language later in life; the more exposure to music, the easier it generally becomes for the child to begin learning, and thus speaking, their native language. This phenomenon is not limited only to young children, but is active throughout life and music ear training retains its effectiveness well into adulthood. As a relatively new discovery, this training lacks dedicated resources, many of which are small or incomplete. EasyEarTraining.com is one of the few sites out there offering solid and plentiful information on the matter and they even provide apps on the iPhone to help maximize the effect you can get out of the training for a reasonable price, provided you have the hardware for it; if not, the site still provides all information and updates about music ear training free of charge to site visitors.

EasyEarTraining.com is a site founded to provide information and tutorials on how to properly train your ears to not only pick up sounds more accurately but also provide your brain with the facilities to more easily learn a new language or simply understand those you already know more clearly, entirely through conventional and Music Ear Training. All info and tutorials are free and they provide an iPhone app for training on the go to boot!

Kaminski Auctions will present an exceptional array of fine European and American art, antiques, and jewelry in their annual Thanksgiving Auction on November 30th, including many items from the estate of artist Alexander Brook. The second day of the auction, December 1st, will feature the personal collection of Marla Maples and Tiffany Trump (with a portion of proceeds to benefit charity), in addition to a selection of jewelry and fine wines.

Typically Kaminskis largest sale of year, this years auction will again include a number of outstanding pieces among the top lots of the auction. One of the most highly anticipated items in the sale is Alexander Brooks famous Brothel Bed. Residing and working in New York and Savannah, Brook was one of the most popular figurative painters of the 1930s. His work has been exhibited in many major museums, including the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C, the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City, and the Cleveland Art Museum.

The bed features nine oil painted panels by the artist, all depicting nude and partially undressed women. The turned wood spindles of the head and footboard frame the panels and give the bed a light bamboo like structure. Valued at $ 60,000 to $ 70,000, the bed comes from the artists own private collection. Although it has never before been exhibited in public, it once appeared in a Victorias Secret photo shoot, and was photographed by Guild Museum Artist Hans Namuth.

The auction will also offer a pair of Egyptian Revival bronzes produced by Tiffany and Company, and signed “Picault.” Each about 20 inches high, they model the forms of a traditional male figure and the famous Apis bull. As a pair, these rare sculptures are valued at between $ 20,000 and $ 40,000.

In addition to these impressive sculptural pieces, the auction will also offer a number of notable paintings and two dimensional works. The most highly valued of these is John George Brown’s painting, “Girl on Seesaw.” Born in Britain, Brown originally immigrated to New York as a glass maker, but instead made his name as an artist. His skill and the popularity of the subject matter made him one of the most successful artists of his time. He is most famous for his portraits of street children, but produced other images of childhood as well. This example of his work is expected to sell for between $ 20,000 and $ 40,000.

Other important works in the sale include a painting by American artist Ralph Albert Blakelock, an Audubon print, as well as works from Dutch artist Koekkoek, Max Friedrich Rabes, Wilhelm Von Gegerfelt, and Louis Jaurer. There is winter scene landscape by the revered North Shore artist Frederick J. Mulhaupt that has everything one looks for in an American Impressionist painting.

The sale will also present a number of important decorative items, highlighted by an American silver dish, and a Mid 19th century Austrian 14K gold snuff box. The dish is signed John Waite New York and valued at $ 10,000 to $ 15,000, while the snuff box is decorated with four cabochon sapphires and a diamond monogram over enamel and worth between $ 6,500 and $ 7,500.

A Samuel Field McIntyre Salem chest will also appear in the sale. The chest features rope turned columns and decorative carvings of eagles, shields and cornucopia baskets on the posts. This chest is expected to fetch between $ 7,000 and $ 12,000. In addition to this chest, Kaminski Auctions is also pleased to offer a 20th century Queen Anne style flat top highboy from the estate of Joan Bennett Kennedy.

Many collectors will also be interested in a 1969 Fender Stratocaster guitar. The guitar retains all original parts, and the neck has never been removed. It is expected to reach between $ 10,000 and $ 20,000.

A selection of fine jewelry will also accompany these exciting collections and appear throughout the sale. Day 1 will feature a 18K white gold diamond and Ceylon sapphire ring, in addition to the larger collection of 18K gold and diamond jewelry that will appear in the second day.

Day 2 of the Thanksgiving auction will also feature a variety of personal items from the collection of Marla Maples and Tiffany Trump. Ms. Maples has pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of her items to The Brain Cancer Research Institute, to support the development of treatments for brain cancer.

Among the items offered are a number of fine glass pieces, including two Lalique vases, one a Nymphale vase in sapphire blue, and the other embellished with figures of nude women. The two are valued at around $ 2,000 each. A bronze Erte sculpture also stands out in the collection. Marked C1987 Chalk & Vermillion and Sevenarts 111/375 the piece stands eighteen inches high on a marble vase and is valued at $ 2,000 to $ 3,000.

The Marla Maples collection also includes a bottle of 1945 Chateau Lafite Rothschild, given to Marla and Donald Trump at their wedding. This unique bottle of wine is valued at between $ 3,000 and $ 5,000. The collection of wine from a Salem, MA estate also includes bottles of 1967 Chateau Lafite Rothschild, as well as wines from Opus One and Margaux.
