Let us look at the subliminal message, which form the whole point of the mp3 in the first place. The reason that this medium was designed was because it was able to embed high quality sound of various frequencies and variances within a relatively small sized digital file. Also, the size to duration ratio is also quite good, and you do not need to carry or care for a bulky CD (although most of the time, a master set will be given to you for safe keeping).
Now, a subliminal message is in fact a message that has been designed to pass through the normal ranges of human perception and straight into the preconscious mind. What can be embedded in the message or medium can be a message or a signal, both which have been designed to execute a certain function and make the brain do something. The sensory threshold of the mind is much, much more acute than the rest of the body and it can hear, perceive, and even sense things that we cannot.
External stimuli can be picked up if they fall within the ranges of the human hearing or visual system. The subconscious mind is protected in this way – it cannot sense all the peripheral stimuli because the mind itself filters this and blocks it before it goes deep into the mind. Now, the whole idea of the subliminal CD is the espionage of the mind because the messages are hidden within a medium like music. Once the mind is tricked into believing that there is only one layer to the stimulation, the subconscious mind will then be able to pick up these hidden messages or signals.
Once it is able to do that, the subconscious, not realising that the logic bomb that is our conscious mind has not even detected this, it will assume that it has been cleared for implant into the preconscious matrix. Once it has been implanted, then the slow but sure process of change will then develop and bloom within the mind and whatever it is you want to improve or get rid of will be realised.
