Both characters are cool and collected who will use any trick in the book to win any case.

We also meet Mike Ross, a man with photographic memory. Who was forced out of college for a dumb mistake. About ready to make another one he stumbles into Harvey Specter’s assoicate interviews and after explaining his life to Harvey gets hired on as his new assoicate. This character reminds me a bit like Shawn Spencer, they both have the same unique talent and use it to get out of messes. Mike is more shy, and damaged. He is damaged because of the choices he was forced to make and the struggle he is having with his ill grandmother. This show focuses more on the drama and not the comedy. There is alot of smart dialoge and good chemistry between the two main stars.

However I did find the chemistry between the main stars and other characters a bit lacking. Gina Torres makes her well deserved welcome back to TV as Harvey’s boss, Jessica Pearson. She is more of a plot point than an actual character. Hopefully they will give her a character specific episode where they build more on her. The paralegal Rachel Zane also was a bit sketchy for me. She starts the episode sort of rude and annoying, then within thirty minutes, warm and kind. This show also features the great Rick Hoffman, playing the same character Rick Hoffman always plays. This version is Louis Litt who is the main rival of Harvey. For the first episode in general.

Suits is a legal drama from USA Network starring Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht. Suits follows college drop-out Mike Ross, who accidentally lands a job with one of New York’s best legal closers, Harvey Specter. They soon become a winning team with Mike’s raw talent and photographic memory, and Mike soon reminds Harvey of why he went into the field of law in the first place

In these hectic times we live in, often the hardest part of our lives is the simple act of keeping track of everything we are responsible for. Diaries, notebooks and email accounts are all completely full of little notes to ourselves in an attempt to make sure that we don’t forget something important. It is of little wonder then that many different products have appeared promising to enhance ones memory, making life that much easier. Moreover as higher education becomes more and more necessary in order to advance our careers, the thought of being able to remember things easily and permanently without effort does seem to be a very attractive proposition.

But is it that simple, can we simply purchase a book or a course on memory enhancement and in a few weeks expect to have an amazing memory, making study and life in general just a little less complicated? Dane Spotts course, Photographic Mind : Holographic Memory System, promises to do just that. With a book and an audio cd their sales pitch promises a photographic memory after undertaking their course. An attractive idea for anyone in this busy society of we live in. Yet as is often the case, what is touted as new and groundbreaking is simply the rehashing of old ideas put into a book with a shiny new title. If you’re considering buying this book, don’t. Doing a quick web search of the author’s name, I found the e-text of a complaint which the Federal Trade Commission brought against Dane Spotts for false advertising. Many of his other products, such as quick fat-burning pills and and quick mind enhancers, were in the complaint. Particularly of note is the complaint that his company has not, in the past, honoured its 30 day money back guarantee. Spotts’ products seem to be little more than present day snake oil: dangerously false get-rich-quick schemes trying to capitalize on current fads and the general public’s ignorance with no concern for product effectiveness or the buyer’s safety and well-being. Dane Spotts needs to put out of business, as he obviously is a career charlatan. He has made his money playing upon people’s insecurities and weaknesses. Don’t let him do the same to you.

That said there are some genuine products out there which may help you improve your memory if you have had problems with it in the past. For one thing the commonly available herb Gingko Biloba has been tested in Alzheimers patients and the majority showed a marked improvement in recall function. It’s a safe herb and very easy to find in any chemist or supermarket and could be great for memory enhancement.

Moreover not all these memory enhancement courses are as ineffective as Photographic Mind : Holographic Memory System. One such book which has a great track record and has received great reviews in the years it has been on the market is Dominic Obrien’s Quantum Memory Power. Not only is he a 7 time memory world champion, but his techniques have withstood the test of time and have achieved great things for those who have implemented them. The best recommendation I could make is that you head on over to Amazon and read some of the reader reviews of his books.
