Have you ever thought the amount of Brain capacity we are using on a day to day basis? Or the amount of Power we have which is far better than a super computer, which can help you achieve your Goals, Desires, or Dreams?

This massive power has been made available to you since men have been evolved. It’s just that only a few individuals have taken the advantage of it, why? Because only these few knew how to use it, or were aware, that they were using this paranormal Brain Power. These few had the power to take them from rags to riches, from power to success, frustration & emptiness to happiness & fulfillment.

As I mentioned above these few people were not aware of their abilities as all their power was running on Autopilot, what we call our Subconscious Mind. It’s like the everyday things we do – breath, run, walk, ride a bike, drive a car, etc, what you have learnt once, your subconscious mind takes over and does it on Autopilot.

Hence we have these Super Brain Powers which we haven’t tapped into & I can safely say that the majority of us aren’t even aware that they exist. It is only lately, due to advancement in our technology that we are now realizing the power of the human mind; people are recording data and sharing with their fellow human beings.

One of them was Napoleon Hill who spent nearly 25yrs of his life researching and interviewing successful people during his times and recording this data into a book which we know as ‘Think And Grow Rich”. He concluded that most of these successful men and women used or had the ability to tap into some higher source which he called the “Infinite Intelligence” or “Universal Intelligence” to put it more appropriately, in my opinion, – GOD.

But how to tap into this Intelligent Source? That was the BIG question and it still is, as the brain is so intricate that it still baffles our scientists to this day. It still marvels them as studies have shown that the brain is still working even though we may be asleep…all thanks to our Subconscious mind. It is this very Subconscious Mind that tells us or forewarns us of an impending danger or gives us the “right decisions” on any of our problems that we are thinking about. Napoleon Hill tells that these “decisions” are given to us by the “Infinite Intelligence” through our Subconscious Mind.

So imagine these little information we get when we haven’t even trained our mind, think what your brain can do when it is “Awakened” or when it goes to “work”. Remember the famous proverb “A man becomes what he thinks”, so be careful what you think. This is where our positive thoughts work in our favor (being successful), and the negative thoughts against you (failures, poverty, etc).

But then again you cannot just tap into these mind powers just by sitting on your easy chair, no, there is some work (I hate this) involved. It begins when one realizes that he/she wants to succeed in life, when there are certain goals or dreams one wishes to achieve. You can even use it to control your body weight, quit smoking, find your soul mate, etc, etc. Learning how to use our brain power lets us create things that we have always been dreaming of. This “awakens” your Subconscious Mind to start tapping into the “Intelligent Source” and things begin to work for you and outside sources come to your aid in order to achieve your goals and desires.

It is always important to stick to a healthy diet, this will give us a feeling of well-being and increase our energy levels as well. We all know that there are certain foods or drinks that can interfere with our brain function and cause loss of concentration and/or memory, but the real question here though is – are there foods out there that can increase our brain function which will result in better concentration? The answer is a resounding YES! to that question.

A) What are brain foods and how are they used?

The following nutrients are used by the brain:

* carbohydrates – for energy* omega 3 – for formation of cell structure* Vitamin B6, B12 and folic acid – these help manufacture and release a chemical [known as neurotransmitters]* vitamin C, E and beta-carotene [rich in antioxidant properties] – protect brain cells from damage due to free-radicals found in environmental pollution

B) Brain Foods to eat and why

1) Spinach – this assists with age related problems [including decline in function] and may lessen damage from strokes and neurological disorders. Spinach also protects the brain from oxidant stress [as a antioxidant]

2) Eggs – containing choline [a component of fat-like molecules] egg yolk is partly responsible for general brain function and health. Choline deficiency is said to contribute to Alzheimers and age related mental declines

3) Sweet potatoes – rich in vitamin B6, C, carbohydrates and beta-carotene this vegetable is pretty important to the functioning of the brain [see A above]

4) Yellow fin tuna – rich in omega 3, vitamin B [known as niacin]. The omega 3 fatty acids help keep the cell membranes flexible, thus maximizing the intake of all the important nutrients needed, while niacin protects against Alzheimers

5) Strawberries – rich in vitamin C, strawberry eaters have better motor skills and a higher learning capacity and their brain is protected in the fact that age-related function decline is reduced

6) Cranberries – improvements in memory, balance and co-ordination have been noted in people consuming this sour berry, this berry also protects the brain from free-radical damage

7) Kidney beans – containing thiamine, needed for synthesizing choline, and inositil which is believed to improve mood disorders

8) Loin of lamb – rich in vitamin B12 [see A above] and iron [iron deficiency can cause problems with concentration and other mental performances]

9) Wheat germ – Rich in vitamin E [see A above] and selenium which are both powerful antioxidants, it also contains choline and magnesium making this food a powerful brain nutrient

There are probably a few brain foods that I have missed but as you can see by what I have jotted down, there are enough brain foods out there to give you the concentration kick you are after.

1. Do some brain games. Not only are brain games an enjoyable experience, but they may help boost your concentration and focus. Relying on your long-term memory and trying to resolve tough things helps improve the brain. Having only 15 minutes daily to play brain games will benefit you.

2. Changing your daily routine challenges your brains focus and concentration to complete things thats outside your area of expertise. This can dramatically develop your problem fixing capabilities.

I was the child that could not focus, studied a lot but always forgot many of the material, and I appeared to be the least bright person in my family.

All this was beginning to get to me personally so I simply chose to get more intelligent. So I typed in on the internet, Ways of getting smarter? Well there are so many programs that declared to increase your intellect and boost your concentration, I didn’t know where to start.

I went through a couple of methods and did a large amount of research on every one, I came to understand there were just a big rip-off. They didn’t help me get more intellectual at all.
