Subliminal Mp3s – What are they and do they work? : Subliminal MP3

Article by Patrick Fitz-Gibbon

There has been lots controversy recently on the topic of subliminal messages and there is still a lot of mystery around the subject.

Subliminal messages are a form of mild self hypnosis that works by sending positive affirmations into you sub conscious mind. You will not actually hear the subliminal message and you are not supposed to. You see 10% of your brain is made up of the conscious mind and the rest is sub conscious. So really when you are making every day decisions you are only using 10% of your brain.

Now if you can tune in to the rest of your brain, the sub conscious part which is 90% then you can see the power of this can’t you? The messages you are receiving are getting into the larger part of your consciousness, therefore having a deeper meaning than if you were using just your normal everyday 10%.?

Say you wanted to stop smoking. Well normally you would think yes I want to stop smoking and I will start tomorrow and I will throw out my cigarettes etc. By doing that and saying that to yourself, you are only using your conscious mind which equates to 10% so the results are going to be somewhat limited to say the least.

Now if you decided. I am going to use subliminal messaging as a form of stop smoking hypnosis and you found a hypnosis download and listened to it, you will now be using 100% of your brain to stop smoking. The results are only going to be more powerful!

The opportunities for this are limitless. For example if you were to use subliminals for self hypnosis weight loss imagine the information you need to lose weight gets into 10% of your brain AND the 90% that is not normally used? So 100% is going into you losing weight! Weight loss hypnosis is becoming increasingly popular amongst all types of people including celebrities and politicians. Try it you will be amazed at the results.

The great thing about subliminal Mp3 is that you can listen anywhere, anytime. You don’t need to be in a quiet room tucked away for an hour. You can listen while you work or whilst you are travelling and even while you sleep! Because although it is a form of hypnosis it is very mild, so mild in fact you won’t even realize it. Whereas more traditional methods of hypnosis can send you into a deep trance like state a message that is subliminal will allow you to carry on with your everyday tasks and not interrupt your patterns or affect you in any way!

If you need to make positive, long lasting changes in you life in whatever area, then you can! There is not only weight loss hypnosis there are thousands of hypnosis downloads for you to choose from, so whatever area in your life needs changing there is guaranteed to be a subliminal Mp3 to suit you.

Short Term Memory : Memory Games: Do They Really Help you Enhance Your Memory

Article by Erik Skillern

Have you tried to say a phone number over and over again until you memorize it? Many people use this technique to retain information to their memories. However, we tend to forget the phone number after few hours or may be after one day.

This happens because you retain the phone number to the short memory rather than to the long term memory. The short term memory can be very useful for quickly remembering some information such as telephone numbers, but unfortunately it can store bits of information for very short period of time.

In order to remember things for a longer period, you must relate the new data with the data you already know. This help retaining data to your long-term memory and so store the information for longer intervals.

There are numerous techniques that are quite laborious to improve our memory. However, you can also have techniques that are both funny and beneficial. Here you can find several games such as puzzles that can practice your memory.

One way to recall information that you need to retain to your long-term memory is to create a story that associates the particular items or data you need to recall, making them easier to remember. The idea here is that it is easier to recall more data when a fact or data is associated with another idea.

While creating the story, you can also make a strong mental image of what is happening. This aids in associating the information to a picture and concretize it into your long-term memory.

Story-telling is fun while performing with a group. You can rehearse by laying 10 or more things on the floor and try to recall them. Each person in the group takes his or her to add to the story by adding another object.

After you finish adding all the objects in the story you can take them out of the room. After that check to see who can remember most objects. Finally, tell the story as a group by asking each member to tell his or her part. There is no doubt that the group will remember the story and hence all the objects associated.

Another mind-practicing game is the pexeso. This game is a matching pairs like tiles or cards from a group, when one of each group is not visible.

The game can be played with a set of tiles which has pairs of symbols or images. You can play the game using half a pack of cards, but ensure that you have pair of each card i. e 2 queens, 2 jacks, 2 aces . .. . etc.

You start the game by placing 12 matched pairs of cards face down. Then move the cards around to ensure that you don’t know which is which.

Turn one card one at a time and look at the number or the picture, and then turn it down again. You can repeat this process until you turn over a tile that matches a tile you turned earlier. Now, find the card’s pair by recalling from earlier where it is placed. When you located a pair, remove them from the set. You can also devise your own games but you should be sure that they are really mind-practicing games such as puzzles and solving problems.

Games like this will exercise your brain and your memory. Through these games, you can expect that your memory will be a lot sharper and also a lot more accurate.

Did you know that the subconscious mind power creates your reality? Go to realmindpowersecrets.blogspot.com to learn more.

Have you tried to say a phone number over and over again until you memorize it? ? We all do this from time to time to store a phone number in our memory. However, we tend to forget the phone number after few hours or may be after one day.

This is because the phone number is not retained in our long term memory.

Vitamins : Most Common Vitamins – What Do They Do For Our Bodies?

Article by Ralph Lauren

The world is a very busy place and many people turn to vitamins to get the nutritional value needed when their diet just doesn’t suffice. But when diving into the world of vitamins for the first time it can be quite daunting – and taking the wrong types of vitamins can not only be expensive, but also pointless if selecting them without the right information. Below are the most popular vitamins on the market and the benefits they can offer our wellbeing and body when taken.

Vitamin AThis vitamin is perfect for those wanting to improve teeth, skin and bone health. It’s also great for building up the immune system and improving vision. Vitamin A isn’t essential for a daily multivitamin as the body stores the vitamin in the liver, with the average persons liver containing about two years supply of vitamin A.

Vitamin DVitamin D assists with calcium absorption, helps maintain healthy bones in adults and allows the body to maintain regular levels of phosphorus and calcium. For kids, the vitamin is necessary for strong bones, general growth and also can prevent and cure rickets. A vitamin D deficiency can come from the body not being exposed to enough sunlight! Natural vitamin D such as D3 is the best form to take as it is more readily absorbed.

Vitamin EWhile you’re slathering on moisturiser, take a look on the bottle’s list of ingredients – it no doubt has vitamin E in it! But it’s not just great for the skin; vitamin E is necessary for the formation of normal red blood cells and immune function, DNA maintenance and also helps protect lipids and cells from free radical damage.

Vitamin KGoing through the alphabet of vitamins, vitamin K is important for blood clotting and maintaining bone mineralisation.

Antioxidants (Beta Carotene, Gingko Biloba, Lutein and Lycopene)Many scientists suggest that diets rich in antioxidants can help with the maintenance of memory, mental alertness, concentration, blood flow and cardiovascular health. Antioxidants are also essential for the prevention of aging and disease.

Folic AcidFolic acid is widely known as a vitamin for expectant mothers to take during pregnancy to prevent neural tube defects in their unborn baby, but it does serve more than just that purpose. This vitamin can also help maintain a healthy intestinal tract, is necessary for amino acid metabolism, helps with the formation of nucleic acids that form DNA, is important for normal growth and development and assists with red blood cell formation.

So, now you know what the most common vitamins are and what they help the body with, you can take a look at your diet and see which ones are required so your body is in tip top condition!

Vitamins : Vitamin K Foods – What They are and Why you Need Them

Article by Susan Lamont

Vitamin k foods are easy to obtain, regrettably few people know enough about this vitamin’s existence, let alone what foods it is found in. It is definitely essential for the body to be able to coagulate blood to cease bleeding if you are injured. As a fat soluble vitamin, vitamin K is saved in your body versus water soluble vitamins which only pass through your body.

The daily recommended dose of vitamin K is 85 micorgrams (mcg) each day. The majority of people don’t have to be troubled about a deficiency in vitamin K, foods packed with the nutrient are common place and the amount you require each day is not too extravagant. Foods with vitamin will keep most of the vitamin K even after being exposed to heat or boiled in water.

Green leafy vegetables are the biggest sources of vitamin K, with kale by far being the highest in the nutrient. Kale is a super vegetable in its own right. Spinach and cooking greens, for example turnip, beet and collard greens, are all very loaded in vitamin K. All of these vitamin K foods have amounts of the vitamin of over 500 mcg a serving, and with the recommended size of the vitamin being 85 mcg, it is simple to get your daily dose. Even foods such as eggs, wheat bread and prunes have amounts of at least above 50 mcg per serving.

Vitamin K deficiencies are scarce, mainly because if your diet is so poor that it is leading to a vitamin K deficiency, normally a more vital nutrient that is harder to acquire will lead to you to seek medical care before you ever reach the place of being enormously deficient in vitamin K. People who are in danger for not receiving enough vitamin K include people who endure cystic fibrosis, IBS and liver disease and newborn babies.

Bleeding for an abnormally long time after a cut, easy bruising, anemia and bloody noses are all clues of a deficiency. There are no proven side effects from vitamin K and no identified bad effects that a supplement of the vitamin might have on children, the elderly or pregnant women. People using a blood thinner, like Coumandin which goes by the generic name warfarin, should steer clear of vitamin K foods since these are people who need to avoid blood clots.

Other motives to get enough vitamin K foods are that it helps encourage strong bones, to weaken the appearance of dark under eye circles and bruises, and its ability to fight cancer with its antioxidant like qualities. Though deficiencies of vitamin K are atypical, if you do lack this vitamin it could end in disastrous consequences for you.

You can discover more information concerning how to pick the best vitamin k foods.

Online Brain Training Games and Exercises: Can They Turbocharge Mental Capacity? : Brain Training

Article by Gene Suser

There are more brain training games (and exercises) available than hours in the day in which to use them. In fact, with the first day of kindergarten, the brainstarts its lifelong journey of training. So, why use gamesin the first place and how are they useful? Great questions! The answers lie in recent research thatreveals how quality of life (mentally speaking) is influenced by the level and quality of lifelong brain activity. This article takes a look at that relationship andsome fun activities that can enhance it.

For most of the 19th and 20th century, the results of scientific research characterized the model of brain development in the shape of a wave. This is to say, thebrain reached a maximum point of development during adulthood and then began an inescapable downward march intodementia. The once sharp mental processes would simply losetheir potency, irrevocably breaking down due to age.

Today, new research indicates (as with that old Porgy and Bess song) it ain’t necessarily so. Current research indicates the brain has the ability to adapt to new demandsplaced on it. Far beyond simply developing folds with age, this organ has the ability to reconfigure itself in response to information processing demands. This means it can re-assign, re-task or rebuild cognitive processing (sometimes to alternate physical regions) as required.

Though it had been believed that cognitive processing was fixed to specific physical regions of the brain, advances in technology have now shown a much different picture. The brain is much more pliable, subtle and adaptive in handling the information demands coming fromits environment. The key is in maintaining a constant level of demand that keeps the brain developmentally active (as opposed to just keeping your heart beating).

Brain training and exercises leverage this adaptive capability (now referred to as neural plasticity or brainplasticity). These exercises and techniques engage the brain using specially designed basic cognitive processing tasks (for memory, visual processing, response time, etc…) in the form of simple games. These small demands for information processing, essentially exercise the brain by requiring it to really focus,to win the game. The games begin simply. Then ever so gradually, craftily, seductively, they escalate indifficulty until, though your brain is really working, it becomes difficult to pull away. Oddly, in some ways, it’s relaxing.

Of course, there are alternate ways to engage in more brain training. Consider active learning. In active learning our advanced cognitive processes (critical thought, creative problem solving, deductive reasoning, etc..) are brought to bear in acquiring new knowledge aboutsome subject.

An example would be learning a new musical instrument or foreign language. Such endeavors would exercise reaction time, motor control, pattern recognition and abstract reasoning (not to mention a very intense use of basic memory processes). Learning the subjects can be time consuming, though each carries its own rewards when mastered. Learning is an activity most of our brains are well suited in performing. It is the original form of brain training.

A significant advantage derived from engaging in more braintraining games and exercises (online at least), is dollar savings and convenience. Rather than exercise basic cognitive processes through advanced cognitive processactivity, as with active learning, online software based brain training engages the basic processes directly. This approach does not require books, musical instruments or any other item except a computer and an internet connection. All in all, quite convenient and less expensive than most activelearning approaches (tuba and tuba lessons, anyone?). Additionally, online game content is updated as neural research advances. Not to mention, it can be a lot of fun. Who would’ve thought that getting a bigger faster brain could actually be fun?

Regardless of the approach, be sure to engage in a consistently exertive level of activity. This is best because a consistent and rigorous workout level causes the brain to interpret the activity as definite information processing demand requiring an adaptive response. Like a muscle, the brain’s response to significant increased workload is to become stronger (be sure to include a proper amount of rest).

Over the long haul, a regular and rigorous cognitive workout can yield significant health, well-being and long term quality of life benefits. Even though such results are desirable, it can be difficult to generate the needed motivation. That being the case, it is important to make sure to maximize the fun factor associated with a workout regimen. If the workout is not fun, at least make certainthat it is interesting. Otherwise, the least distraction will serve as reason to find something else to do. Where the mind leads, the brain and body will follow. It’s one of the reasons online brain training games tend to be so effective. They start simply, but remain engaging.

Online brain training games are an excellent way to help extend high cognitive function and quality of life. Ashigh-tech research proceeds, we find increasing evidence that the brain has amazing capabilities previously unsuspected. Oddly enough, to take advantage of these capabilities no exotic equipment is needed. Simply by engaging in more brain training games and exercises, the long term health benefits are easily attainable.

Here’s one of our favorite brain training sites on the net. There you will find free information, gamesand exercises scientifically designed to increase yourbrain’s processing power. Just register and go. Enjoy!

Vitamins : Vitamins – Do They Really Help in Maintaining Health and Preventing Diseases?

Article by Bertil Hjert

The word “vitamin” is derived from two words, “vital” and “amine”. Vitamins are known to be really powerful organic compounds available in little concentrations in different food sources. Vitamins are supported to function in certain specific ways and their role is vital for the body chemistry. These can be compared to electric sparks that help in ‘running’ human motors.

Vitamins cannot be produced or even synthesized by the organism. Of Course, there are certain exceptions. The absence of vitamins or absorption in lesser amounts than required can result in certain deficiencies and also diseases. It is impossible to lead healthy life without providing the body with all the essential vitamins it requires. These vitamins are found in very little quantities in their natural state and that too in organic foods. Hence, it is absolutely necessary to obtain them foods or dietary supplements

Vitamins are categorized in tow different categories:

a) Fat soluble vitamins

b) Water soluble vitamins

Vitamins A, K, D and E are fat soluble whereas vitamin B complex and C are water soluble. Water soluble vitamins can be destroyed by heat. These cannot be dissolved easily in cooking water. Fat soluble vitamins are not lost by ordinary cooking methods. These have the capacity to store themselves inside the body to certain extent, mainly inside the liver. Fat soluble vitamins are measured in unit whereas water soluble vitamins are measured in milligrams and micrograms according to the requirement.

Vitamins, when used therapeutically can be of great help in fighting disease and speedy recovery. Vitamins can be utilized in two different ways. They can either be used to correct deficiencies or treating disease in place of drugs.

According to several studies and researchers conducted, it has been proved that vitamins taken according to the dosage recommended can heal a wide range of common illnesses and health related complaints.

Vitamin therapy is known to have a great impact as compared to drug therapy. Drugs can be toxic and ends up providing side effects. Vitamins are non-toxic and absolutely safe to use.

Proper nutrients obtained via diet and certain important vitamin supplements facilitates in developing a strong immunity system and this results in less illness. People with decreased immunity levels can easily suffer from many diseases for a longer period of time.

Here is information on vitamin supplements that can do wonders to your immune system:

a) Vitamin C

Microorganisms, primarily bacteria, are the only known organisms that manufacture B12. These bacteria live in water, soil and even air. Animals get B12 by eating food and soil contaminated with these microorganisms. Animals then have bacteria in their digestive system from which they obtain their b12, but only if they get the bacteria from their environment and enough cobalt from the soil, which is a trace element that all vertebrates require, but is only assimilated in the form of b12. At the root of things, cobalt is how every animal synthesizes b12. Cobalt is not an animal. It is a trace element. B12 comes from the earth and can only be synthesized with a trace element. Animals get their b12 from water/dirt. B12 is not something you can only get from animals! Animals themselves are also deficient in b12 due to our environment no longer being conducive to the bacteria’s life. If you do B12 injections, research the type you’re given. I was initially prescribed Cyanocobalamin. That form is not found in nature and contains a supposedly-so-small-it-won’t-harm-anything amount of cyanide. I asked for Methylcobalamin with Hydroxocobalamin being my second choice. Why put cyanide in your body if you don’t have to? Just do your research :o)

Brain Foods : Good Brain Foods – What Are They?

As office workers, you probably got so busy that you skip meals or just grab some junk food to save time. Are you aware that poor diet will affect your brain function? Weariness, tired eyes, poor memory are signals that it is time to take better care of your brain.

Friend, it’s time to make a change to your lifestyle, otherwise we would have to pay a high price for not taking better care of ourselves. Now, we can start from the basic but most vital change is our diet.

You require food which can provide maximum nutritional values to your brain. But do you know exactly what your brain needs?

Our brain is made up of 3 major components: Neurons, which power the message, Neurotransmitters, which create the message and Receptors, which receive the message.

Fats are not totally villains, they are actually good guys when it comes to your brain. They are especially important and useful to Neurons. Fats made up about 33% of your brain. And we are talking here about good fats – fatty acids which your brain needs to perform complex, intricate functions properly.

Now the membranes of neurons (the specialized brain cells that communicate with each other) are composed of a thin double-layer of fatty acid molecules. Fatty acids are what dietary fats are composed of.

When you digest the fat in your food, it is broken down into fatty acid molecules of various lengths. Your brain then uses these for raw materials to assemble the special types of fat it incorporates into its cell membranes. Where do good fats come from? Top two on the list should be walnuts and sesame.

The amino acids found in proteins are what form the brain chemicals, called the neurotransmitters, that motivate or sedate, focus or frustrate. In other words, they are the masterminds of your mood. Lack of amino acids is quickly detected in your emotions and behaviour. Therefore, it is important you obtain sufficient protein in your diet from eggs, cheese, yoghurts, grains and legumes, nuts and seeds.

You need carbohydrates to fuel your brain. By consuming grains, legumes, fruits and vegetables, the carbohydrates are converted into glucose sugars and absorbed into your blood to your brain.

However, raising the blood sugar too fast within a short time can actually cause the slowdown of energy supply to the brain and as a result, an adverse effect on your brain power to focus, remember and learn. That’s why you feel sleepy after a heavy lunch.

Your brain also needs vitamin C to keep in its best shape:- alert, alive and intelligent. Eat at least 3 servings of fruits and green leafy vegetables daily to achieve the desired results.

Vitamin B group is needed for the conversion of glucose into brain energy and good functioning of the body immune system and mental health. Even a mild deficiency can cause you to become irritable, lack of concentration and forgetful. Foods that help include mushrooms and cauliflower.

As a guide, you should include the following essential brain foods in your diet:

1. Nuts provide abundance of protein, unsaturated fats, lecithin, inorganic salt and vitamins, all of which are good nourishments for our brain.

2. Mushrooms help to stablise blood sugar levels and prevent the blood vessel from damage, therefore keeping the energy supply to our brain stable and protecting it from stroke. They also contain anti-cancer properties, remove fatigue, stabilise mood, prevent anaemia etc.

3. Dried lily flowers (aka tiger lily buds) are rich in protein, fats, calcium, iron, vitamin B1, all of which aids in the metabolism of our brain.

4. The regular consumption of onions helps to prevent blood clotting, thereby improve blood circulation to the brain, lower high cholesterol levels and high blood pressure, and are also useful in stabilising mood and reducing tiredness.

5. Millet is a good source of protein, fats, calcium, iron, vitamin B1 and magnesium. It is able to bolster your brain cells. Magnesium has been shown in studies to reduce the frequency of migraine attacks.

6. Longan strengthens the heart spleen and calms the nerves. It’s effective in treating insomnia, frailty, forgetfulness, dizziness and improve your overall health.

7. Grapefruit provides rich amount of Vitamins A, B1 and C which help to neutralize the acidic effects of food which are harmful to the nerve system. One feels refreshed and alert if consume regularly. Oranges and lemons achieve the same effects too.

Here’s a transcript of the video: A complete and balanced diet is probably the most sound advice, but some specific types of food are especially good for brain health. Here are a few of the best: Fish: ***** The original brain food contains lots of omega-3 fatty acids and fish oils, especially cold water fish like salmon and cod. Omega-3s are beneficial in a number of ways, including promoting neuronal growth, improved cholesterol, and fortification of myelin sheaths which facilitate communication between neurons. Vegetables: ************ This is a great source of antioxidants, which may reduce the risk of developing cognitive impairment by diminishing oxidative stress. Spinach, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and cauliflower are among the top candidates. Fruits: ******* Like vegetables, fruits are rich in antioxidants. However, fruit tastes better. Some of your healthiest options are blueberries, blackberries, cranberries, strawberries, raspberries, plums, avocados, oranges, red grapes, red bell peppers, cherries and kiwis. Water: ******* Be sure to get enough to keep your body and brain hydrated. Dehydration can cause a headache now, and can lead to long-term neuronal damage sustained from elevated stress hormones. Chocolate: ************ Last (and arguably least beneficial) is cocoa beans, which contain the flavanol epicatechin and antioxidants. Brain Vitamins : Brain Vitamins – How Do They Prevent Cognitive Decline?

The natural foods we ingest contain a lot of ingredients that keep the brain healthy and our memories sharp and lucid. Many of the vitamins we consume have a protective and maintenance function in the brain. Some of these functions include:

Antioxidant effect:

Brain cells are constantly producing free radicals as a byproduct of metabolic processes. Antioxidants like Vitamin E, C, and glutathione get rid of these free radicals before they end up causing too much damage to the brain. Vitamin E has been shown to prevent the development of Alzheimer’s disease, when administered in doses of 2000 UI daily for two years. It can be consumed through food sources and other supplements. Vitamins C and E may also prevent dementia by helping the brain recover after a stroke.

Increasing glutathione levels intravenously has been shown to help patients of Parkinsonism improve dramatically. Glutathione levels can also be increased by consuming antioxidants such as N-acetyl-cysteine to boost antioxidant levels in the blood.

Increasing brain circulation:

It has been found that low levels of homocysteine can contribute to development of heart diseases and dementia. Vitamins such as folate can control this drop in homocysteine levels, preventing memory loss relating to dementia.

Vitamin E has also been shown to help prevent atherosclerosis or the buildup of deposits on vessels that supply blood to the brain cells. This can cause poor circulation and blood clots, contributing to strokes and memory loss. Vitamin B6 can also prevent heart disease and strokes, and Vitamin B12 can increase the supply of oxygen to the cells.

Nerve cell development:

The importance of folate on the development of nerve cells has been proved by overwhelming evidence that folate deficiency can damage neural tube development in the fetus. Today all pregnant women are required to take pregnancy vitamins that contain folic acid to prevent birth defects such as spina bifida and cleft palate caused by folate deficiency.

The nerve cells are encased in a myelin sheath, a fatty covering that protects and insulates nerve fibers and allows them to function optimally. Essential fatty acids, such as omega-3 fats, required for proper development and maintenance of this myelin sheath as well as the cell membranes that preserve the integrity of nerve cells.

Improving mood and function:

B complex vitamins play an important role in the manufacture and release of neurotransmitters that transmit nerve impulses. Neurotransmitters help the brain regulate various body functions such as mood, hunger, and sleep B complex vitamins also protect the myelin sheath from damage.

Low levels of B 12 can cause damage to the sheath and prevent the nerves from functioning normally. Vitamin B6 regulates the GABA and serotonin neurotransmitters and has also been found to alleviate depression, anxiety and stress disorders.

Modern diets provide insufficient amounts of these essential nutritional factors, compromising the health of our brain cells and making it difficult for them to recover from strokes and damage. The result is that diseases like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stress and mood disorders, anxiety and dementia become inevitable as we age.

But although growing older is inevitable, feeling older is not. Taking a multi-vitamin or a well-formulated supplement that compensates for deficiencies in our diets can help to protect and preserve brain function well into your senior years, keeping your memory sharp and promoting clarity in your thought processes.

Brain Vitamins : What Are Brain Vitamins and How Do They Increase Memory Retention?

One of the most complex organs in the body, the brain requires plenty of nutrition and nourishment for good health, proper functioning as well as long life. To provide ‘fuel’ to the brain one must take brain vitamins for not only boosting brain metabolism but also to protect against age-related memory loss.

As we grow old our memories begin to fade. We no longer remember the small details of our past and some people even lose connection with their past. This often leads to depression and social isolation for people with acute memory loss and diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. Brain enhancing vitamins facilitate the brain to manufacture the right amount of proteins and fats to enable its smooth functioning. These can be taken as natural and easy-to-use nutritional supplements, thanks to the modern science which has enabled manufacturing of a large number of vital vitamins for the brains.

Some of the most important nutrients that help preserve the memory are antioxidants that are popular for their cell-protecting properties. A recommended dose of antioxidants combined with vitamins for the brains such as vitamins C and E are known to support having strong memories. Simple intake of these brain vitamins may help stave off Alzheimer’s disease, reduce the degeneration of brain cells and eventual loss of memory.

The brain enhancing vitamins C and E may also help prevent age-related dementia. People can naturally find these nutrients in fruits and vegetables including berries, prunes, raisins, and garlic. Fish oil supplements, fatty acids found in salmon, tuna or sardines are also a good source of essential brain enhancing vitamins.

Although brain vitamins can be found in various foods, it is not always possible to eat all kinds of fruits, vegetables or fish in any given day. It is therefore a logical to take some natural food supplements available easily in the stores. It is always advisable though to consult your doctor before you begin supplementation of any kind. Since there are a wide variety of products on shelves which claim to have brain enhancing vitamins and other essential nutrients, it would help to know what to look for when buying such products.

In addition to brain vitamins, there are some other important nutrients such as Tyrosine,
amino acids and Boron which play a role in enhancing the memory. Tyrosine is naturally found in protein rich foods such as beef and chicken; amino acids such as Tryptophan, are extracted from whole grains, and Boron are found in avocados, apples and nuts.

Another popular brain booster is Choline, which is found in eggs and milk. By consuming products containing brain vitamins, critical amino acids, and antioxidant and other important nutrients, you can give adequate support to your nervous system functioning and enhance brain health.

Photographic Memory : Photographic Memory Books Are They Really Effective?

Photographic memory books essentially teaches people techniques to improve their memory skills. The techniques used in most photographic memory books are to help people develop memory abilities, not through capturing a mental picture of what they see, but by learning certain techniques to make recalling the information possible. The most fundamental means of learning for children is through repetition and association and photographic memory books teaches techniques that adults and older children can use to remember a variety of information. There are several different photographic memory techniques used by people to help train their brain to retain important information for longer.

Techniques

Photographic memory techniques are set of techniques taught to people to help develop a better memory. Many techniques in the photographic memory books focus on what prompts the individual to retain information as well as how to recall specific information when it is needed. With photographic memory techniques the focus is on learning the information as opposed to memorizing it, making recall at a later date possible.

List building, word association and story-telling are a few of the most common photographic memory techniques developed to help people remember a list of words, such as phone numbers, grocery list or a list of numbers, in specific order.

By using proven techniques in photographic memory books the brain can be trained to work without interference of interruptions and distractions and to retain more information and hence improve memory. There are several techniques in photographic memory books used by people to help train their brain to retain important information and if the photographic memory techniques are used properly, they can help recall the information when it is needed.

There are no doubt that the techniques taught in photographic memory books are quite effective if apply correctly.
