Time catches up with all of us and with that hair loss inevitably shows up. Whether it’s a small amount of hair loss or a lot of hair loss it’s inevitable that it will happen. But we can minimize its effects if it implement some small life changes that is easy to start.

This article will show you what a b vitamin category can provide for you and your hair for regrowth purposes.

The small life change that you can do for yourself is to change your diet or at the very minimum start taking vitamin supplements to nourish your body with protein that it needs.

Eating a well balanced diet is one of the keys to hair growth and either minimizing or eliminating the sugars and salts that we get in a lot of foods that we eat on a daily basis.

There are a lot of opinions floating around about whether or not diet affects hair but the bottom line is that if you don’t provide your body with the nutrients it needs for proper hair growth you will suffer hair loss sooner than expected.

If you don’t get the nutrients through your food the only other option is through the use of vitamins for your hair and more specifically concentrating on the vitamin b family of vitamins.

Vitamin B provides essential nutrients that your scalp needs in order to provide protein for hair growth. Using B vitamin supplements can be taken by tablet or in liquid form. Taken on a daily basis is one of the best habits that you can form for yourself and provide nutrients to make you feel and look better.

If you take an excess of any type vitamin your body will naturally secrete the rest so that you don’t have to worry about overdosing that much.

I will list some of the essential vitamin B classes that you should be aware to include in your daily habit of taking these vitamins.

You should be taking the following vitamins 1) Vitamin B1 (Thiamin) 2) Vitamin B12 (Cobalt) 3) Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) 4) Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) 5) Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) 6) Vitamin B9 (folic Acid) 7) Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) 8) Vitamin E 9) Vitamin H…one of the more important vitamins in the vitamin B family because studies have shown that with a lack of this vitamin in the body tends to produce thinning hair prematurely.

So the bottom line is that if you aren’t eating healthy or at least taking multi vitamins then now is the time to start to insure your hair won’t meet hair loss sooner than expected.

Photographic Memory Development – Will It Really Improve My Life? : Photographic Memory

Article by Michelle Rudge

We were all born with a photographic memory, it is how we learnt as babies before we were taught to read. And we can all be retrained to use our minds in that way again. Success can be yours, happiness can be yours, just do it the way all the other successful people are doing it.

Photographic memory development can, and will, effect your everyday life to bring success, happiness, contentment and wealth into your world. That’s a bold statement, but the facts cannot be denied…It is those who possess an exceptional memory that find success in this world.

It is a harsh reality, but it’s true, it is those people who have the capability to remember large quantities of information and data who have the most achievement in life. It is those that can recall what they’ve seen, learnt and experienced that:

* get ‘A’ grades on their exam papers but don’t seem to have to work too hard to accomplish it * get top of grades in college and go on to high paying jobs * are admired for their ability to give natural, confident speeches * have great relationships because they remember the significant dates in their loved ones lives * give accurate and information sales presentations * get promotions because they consistently deliver high quality reports and recommendations * and the list goes on…

You know the people I’m talking about and you look at them and wonder what you can do to be like them too. Well the thing that sets them apart is their ability to recall information. That’s why they appear so self-assured, they are not stressed about remembering the speech or girlfriends birthday, they are not afraid of their boss asking them to help on a project and they are not the one’s that get scammed by every money making schemer out there.

The great news is, photographic memory can be learnt by anyone. It is not the domain of only the gifted. For more information go to: http://www.squidoo.com/photographic-memory-development

Short Term Memory : Memory Games: Do They Really Help you Enhance Your Memory

Article by Erik Skillern

Have you tried to say a phone number over and over again until you memorize it? Many people use this technique to retain information to their memories. However, we tend to forget the phone number after few hours or may be after one day.

This happens because you retain the phone number to the short memory rather than to the long term memory. The short term memory can be very useful for quickly remembering some information such as telephone numbers, but unfortunately it can store bits of information for very short period of time.

In order to remember things for a longer period, you must relate the new data with the data you already know. This help retaining data to your long-term memory and so store the information for longer intervals.

There are numerous techniques that are quite laborious to improve our memory. However, you can also have techniques that are both funny and beneficial. Here you can find several games such as puzzles that can practice your memory.

One way to recall information that you need to retain to your long-term memory is to create a story that associates the particular items or data you need to recall, making them easier to remember. The idea here is that it is easier to recall more data when a fact or data is associated with another idea.

While creating the story, you can also make a strong mental image of what is happening. This aids in associating the information to a picture and concretize it into your long-term memory.

Story-telling is fun while performing with a group. You can rehearse by laying 10 or more things on the floor and try to recall them. Each person in the group takes his or her to add to the story by adding another object.

After you finish adding all the objects in the story you can take them out of the room. After that check to see who can remember most objects. Finally, tell the story as a group by asking each member to tell his or her part. There is no doubt that the group will remember the story and hence all the objects associated.

Another mind-practicing game is the pexeso. This game is a matching pairs like tiles or cards from a group, when one of each group is not visible.

The game can be played with a set of tiles which has pairs of symbols or images. You can play the game using half a pack of cards, but ensure that you have pair of each card i. e 2 queens, 2 jacks, 2 aces . .. . etc.

You start the game by placing 12 matched pairs of cards face down. Then move the cards around to ensure that you don’t know which is which.

Turn one card one at a time and look at the number or the picture, and then turn it down again. You can repeat this process until you turn over a tile that matches a tile you turned earlier. Now, find the card’s pair by recalling from earlier where it is placed. When you located a pair, remove them from the set. You can also devise your own games but you should be sure that they are really mind-practicing games such as puzzles and solving problems.

Games like this will exercise your brain and your memory. Through these games, you can expect that your memory will be a lot sharper and also a lot more accurate.

Photographic Memory : Is Photo Reading Really Speed Reading?

Article by Greg Bareham

Most people have heard about speed reading, and many of us may have even taken a speed reading courses of some type in the past. Developing these types of reading skills can help you to take in more knowledge and to retain more information than the average reader. There are some ways, however, for you to improve on this scale and to even go beyond speed reading to a large extent. This is a process that is known as photo reading, and you might be surprised with exactly how much information you are able to take in when using this method.

All of us have an ingrained ability within us, although it tends to be locked away within the mind to a large extent. It is the use of photographic memory, where we are able to bring back to the mind anything that may have happened in the recent or even distant past. This is the basis behind photo reading, tapping into that photographic memory so that we are able to, not only taken more information at one time but to be able to lock it all away so that we can recall it at any time that we like.

While an individual that knows how to speed read may be able to reach 2000 words per minute, if they continue to work on it for quite some time, an individual who understands photo reading is able to take in 25,000 words per minute at a bare minimum. As a matter of fact, people that are able to tap into this successfully can put away volumes of information in their spare time. At 25,000 words per minute or more, it would not take you very long to accrue quite a bit of knowledge.

Another benefit of these types of reading skills goes far beyond the ability of brain training so that you can take in more words at one time. It is unlocking the mind so that you are able to recall that information and to use it at any time that you like. Learning how to use the photographic memory that is built into all of us takes us far beyond any simplistic speed reading course that just helps us to take in more words. You’ll probably find that as you learn to use this method, you will not only improving your knowledge but you will be improving your ability to think laterally and to use that knowledge in different ways.

Vitamins : Can Vitamins Really Help Treat Acne?

Article by Rebecca Prescott

The more successful natural acne treatments primarily work by reducing the inflammation associated with breakouts. Yet vitamins and minerals don’t work via this mechanism. Does this mean they aren’t really effective in healing pimples, pustules, and zits?

Excess vitamins, with the exception of the fat soluble vitamins (A, D and E), are eliminated from the body. The fat soluble vitamins are stored in the body, and can have serious side effects, particularly vitamin A. The water soluble vitamins can also cause unpleasant and sometimes dangerous side effects, which is a problem with one popular vitamin related treatment for acne, the B5 acne program. However, vitamins and minerals are needed for the health of the skin, our hormonal balance, and a strong immune system. These things all have an impact on acne, so it’s important to make sure you’re at least getting the recommended daily allowance of vitamins.

Vitamin A, and the B vitamins, all have important roles in the health of the skin. Vitamin A strengthens the skin, and a deficiency can lead to acne. However, it is important to note that an excess of this vitamin can also create pimples. Too much vitamin A can be dangerous, especially for pregnant women, who should not take more than 10,000 IU a day. Others can take up to 25,000 IU daily, and this is indeed recommended for treating acne.

Other side effects of vitamin A overdose include nausea, itchiness, irritability, vomiting, headaches, menstrual problems, and dizziness. Long term vitamin A overdose can lead to liver damage, pain in the muscles and bone, and headaches. Some people can have symptoms at a lower dose than 15,000 to 25,000 IU, so this should be monitored if you’re taking these levels of vitamin A.

The B vitamins are all important for healthy skin tone, though several are recommended for acne sufferers. These are vitamin B3 (100 mg three times a day), vitamin B6 (50 mg three times a day), and vitamin B5 (50 mg three times a day). If you are taking any B vitamins separately, it’s recommended that you take a B complex, as this group work together and taking some without the others can result in a deficiency of some B vitamins. The B vitamins also help with the effects of stress, which can be important for acne sufferers.

Vitamin E is excellent for speeding up the healing process, due to its antioxidant capacity. It also helps with the absorption of vitamin A. The suggested amount is 400 IU daily.

Vitamin C with bioflavanoids is the only vitamin that has an anti-inflammatory effect. It also helps with skin healing, and gives the immune system a boost. Try 3000 to 5000 mg spread throughout the day.

Zinc is an important mineral that has helped control pimples. For zinc acne information, click here. Rebecca runs this acne and rosacea site.

Can Subliminal MP3s Really Boost Memory? : Boost Memory

Article by shirley lovatt

For a long time people have used methods like hypnosis to gain entry to their unconscious minds and help to make changes to their thought processes – and using hypnosis is usually a really efficient way of increasing memory. Increasingly more people are embracing a new way of doing this:

Perhaps you might of guessed from the subject on this article I am referring to the use of subliminal mp3s.

Subliminal messages are becoming more and more popular. People are using them for a number of self help areas currently, which is mainly because of their good results in key areas like subliminal memory development.

If you’re not familiar with subliminals then this is a quick guide to just how they work:

An Introduction to Subliminal Messages

They tend to be shrouded in mystery, and there are some pretty outrageous claims out there, yet, they work in a pretty simple way really

Subliminal audio works by submitting messages into your subconscious mind that are at a higher sound frequency. So despite the fact that you won’t hear the subliminal statements, they still get into your subconscious naturally. Over time these messages build-up and begin working to get rid of any mental blockades you may have, and even any limiting beliefs, unfavorable self perceptions, and ineffective ways of processing info.

Subliminals are so successful as they can easily go directly into your subconscious mind without the informed analysis – or maybe more to the point any conscious opposition.

So How Do They Help To Boost Your Memory?

Specifically a subliminal memory development album will typically perform in numerous ways:

Firstly to clear your brain and eliminate blockages and inefficiencies within your subconscious mind which can be restricting your ability to process info. In other words this means that you will take in new information the first time around.Next it’s going to improve the composition of your mind and the way your mind actively works to transfer info around, stores it and is able to recall it. It will improve all your cognitive functions so that when you have learned something new you will store it properly and then remember it at will

If you struggle to remember peoples names, significant dates, and precise details of various elements then subliminal audio might be useful to you. Using subliminals will clear your mind, enable you to take in facts, to store it, and remember it much more effectively.

A large number of people make use of subliminal audio on a daily basis, but if you’re new to it then you can try it out 100 % free:

Microorganisms, primarily bacteria, are the only known organisms that manufacture B12. These bacteria live in water, soil and even air. Animals get B12 by eating food and soil contaminated with these microorganisms. Animals then have bacteria in their digestive system from which they obtain their b12, but only if they get the bacteria from their environment and enough cobalt from the soil, which is a trace element that all vertebrates require, but is only assimilated in the form of b12. At the root of things, cobalt is how every animal synthesizes b12. Cobalt is not an animal. It is a trace element. B12 comes from the earth and can only be synthesized with a trace element. Animals get their b12 from water/dirt. B12 is not something you can only get from animals! Animals themselves are also deficient in b12 due to our environment no longer being conducive to the bacteria’s life. If you do B12 injections, research the type you’re given. I was initially prescribed Cyanocobalamin. That form is not found in nature and contains a supposedly-so-small-it-won’t-harm-anything amount of cyanide. I asked for Methylcobalamin with Hydroxocobalamin being my second choice. Why put cyanide in your body if you don’t have to? Just do your research :o)

Short Term Memory : How To Be A Memory Whiz Is Really Fun

Article by Jim DeSantis

Sometimes it seems we go “brain dead” at the most critical moments. We meet someone for a second time and go blank on their name. We have to make a presentation and our memory leaves us embarrassed. It does not have to be that way.

Here are my top tricks to get you on the path to becoming a master of memory:

1. Use humor or exaggeration.

Information stays in memory longer if it is related to something novel and interesting. Make up something funny or exaggerated that ties into what needs to be memorized.

2. Focus.

If you’re in a situation where something is going on that you want to remember, focus and quietly tell yourself you will remember it. It takes eight seconds to process a piece of information and store that information in your brain. So, when you meet someone new, repeat their name silently in your mind several times while studying their face.

You can even ask them to repeat their name and then repeat it back to them: “I’m sorry, what is your name again?” Then, repeat it back as a question: “Bob Jones? Nice to meet you Bob.”

3. Think movies.

Let’s say you acquire new information from a documentary film. You were interested in the topic. Interest and focus are very important to committing something to memory. Then you consolidated it with similar memories. For example, you knew some basic information about the topic at hand and the documentary provided accentuating pieces of knowledge. You let those fall into place and connect with what you already knew about the topic. Then comes retrieval, which is self explanatory and where tips for improving your memory pay off.

4. Memory can be short-term or long-term.

In short-term memory, your mind stores information for a few seconds or a few minutes: the time it takes you to dial a phone number you just looked up or to compare the prices of several items in a store. Such memory is fragile, and it

Photographic Memory : Photographic Memory Books Are They Really Effective?

Photographic memory books essentially teaches people techniques to improve their memory skills. The techniques used in most photographic memory books are to help people develop memory abilities, not through capturing a mental picture of what they see, but by learning certain techniques to make recalling the information possible. The most fundamental means of learning for children is through repetition and association and photographic memory books teaches techniques that adults and older children can use to remember a variety of information. There are several different photographic memory techniques used by people to help train their brain to retain important information for longer.

Techniques

Photographic memory techniques are set of techniques taught to people to help develop a better memory. Many techniques in the photographic memory books focus on what prompts the individual to retain information as well as how to recall specific information when it is needed. With photographic memory techniques the focus is on learning the information as opposed to memorizing it, making recall at a later date possible.

List building, word association and story-telling are a few of the most common photographic memory techniques developed to help people remember a list of words, such as phone numbers, grocery list or a list of numbers, in specific order.

By using proven techniques in photographic memory books the brain can be trained to work without interference of interruptions and distractions and to retain more information and hence improve memory. There are several techniques in photographic memory books used by people to help train their brain to retain important information and if the photographic memory techniques are used properly, they can help recall the information when it is needed.

There are no doubt that the techniques taught in photographic memory books are quite effective if apply correctly.

Brain Training : Free Brain Training That Really Works

If you’re interested in brain training, the first thing that comes to mind is probably video games like Brain Age or Big Brain Academy, or maybe another online program like Lumosity. In fact, probably every brain training method you can think of is probably some sort of product that will set you back a little money. But the fact of the matter is that brain training could be totally free, and even more effective then the paid solutions out there. Without further ado, I present the Ultimate Guide to Free Brain Training.

The first thing to realize is that there are several areas that play key roles in determining your brain fitness and training your brain. I assume that if you’re reading this guide, you already understand the importance of maintaining your brain health, but you’re probably only aware of a very small scope of the matter. Where brain training games fall short is this: they only work on brain exercise. They completely ignore the other three pillars of brain fitness: physical exercise, managing your stress, and proper nutrition.

Let’s take a look at nutrition first. How do you maximize your diet for brain fitness, without spending extra money? Luckily, there’s nothing to worry about missing by not spending money. Supplements that are claimed to improve your memory or brain functioning just don’t work at all. Both DHEA and Ginkgo biloba supplements are sold as antiaging or brain health supplements, and studies by various scientists show that they have no effects whatsoever. However, Omega-3 fatty acids that are found in cold-water fish do seem to improve brain functions and attention. So without spending extra money on supplements, try eating some mackerel, salmon, tuna, or herring for dinner.

Also important to brain fitness is managing your stress. Too much stress will literally burn you out and decrease your brain’s functioning abilities. One fun and free way to keep stress levels low is to stay clued in to your social network. Call a friend, schedule a date, send a letter to a family member. Physical exercise, which is a pillar of brain training in and of itself, will also help lower your stress levels. Another option would be some simple meditation, it’s an incredible tool.

Physical exercise is also a great area to efficiently train your brain. If you participate in a sport like tennis or soccer, you’ll be working your body whilst thinking intensely about the game at hand. On top of all of that, the exercise naturally reduces your stress. That’s 3 of the 4 areas right there! In reality, any basic exercise is good for your brain fitness, but if you play a sport, then that’s the optimal solution. Be sure that your heart is up in your target workout range for 20 minutes at a minimum to consider it a “workout”, and do it at least 3 times a week.

Finally, let’s talk about brain exercise. You don’t need to spend money on video games or computer software or internet subscriptions to get brain exercise. You could do a simple Google search for “brain teasers” and do those. No matter what salesmen will try to tell you, any simple activity that gets you thinking hard and working your mind is brain exercise. Your brain exercise pillar could be fulfilled simply by being really active in life, reading 20 minutes every night, or dedicating yourself to learning a new topic. Brain exercise does not have to be expensive, it just has to be SOMETHING.

That’s it. That’s all you really need. A substitution or two in your diet, a way to reduce your stress (totally free), some physical exercise (also totally free), and simple brain exercise that could be reading, or brain teasers, or just a really invigorating experience. You can max efficiency in your brain training by meditating or playing a sport, all which cover multiple areas at once. And that’s how you can be training your brain and working on mental fitness, all for free. Goodbye, expensive products.
