The secret to enhancing comprehension originates from foresight. If you know what you might be searching to come across, and know where to obtain it, then it’ll be straightforward to find out the data. You might genuinely similar to this next technique for the reason that it performs for well. Before you truly study a chapter in a book–skim it. Skim it at extremely higher pace. A velocity of about 2-5 seconds per page is perfect for skimming. Let’s see what you will need to find out at this extremely substantial velocity.

In an increasingly cluttered marketplace, it is critical to make an immediate, meaningful and lasting impression with your graphic design and branding. You only have seconds to do so, and if you fail it could mean the loss of customers and revenue.
Think differently.Start by changing the way you think about the word “simple.” Simplicity is not easy. Simplicity is innovative. It is more challenging and takes more discipline than the “kitchen sink” theory of design. If applied correctly to your brand strategy, you can say more with less.
5 key advantages to simplicity in design and messaging.
1. It is easily recognizable.2. It is memorable.3. It reduces visual and emotional tension.4. It is easy to understand. 5. It allows for a direct, coherent, consistent message across all brand channels.
Take advice from the experts.Marissa Mayer, Google’s director of consumer Web products, sums the importance of design simplicity excellently:
“Google has the functionality of a really complicated Swiss Army knife, but the home page is our way of approaching it closed. It’s simple, it’s elegant, you can slip it in your pocket, but it’s got the great doodad when you need it. A lot of our competitors are like a Swiss Army knife open• “and that can be intimidating and occasionally harmful.”
Google stays true to the equation: Robust Product + Simple, Direct Presentation = Success.
Test your brand. An easy way to evaluate the effectiveness of your marketing materials is to sit down and look at them briefly. Skim them. Don’t spend any more time than you would as a consumer looking at someone else’s materials for the first time. Now step away. Read a chapter in a book. Go on a walk. Do something distracting. Then sit down and think about your materials. What do you remember? Is you message clear? Is your design consistent? If you have trouble remembering your colors, focus or message, others certainly will too.

A good memory is essential for everyone. From schooling to the later stage of life, having a sharp memory will give a lot of benefits. There are some simple things that you can do to improve your memory. Remember that the brain is also composed of brain cells and neurons that need to be nourished with natural nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. If you really want to improve and sharpen your memory, you can do simple healthy habits that are quite easy to memorize.
Here are the healthy habits that can always enhance your brain
Phosphatidylcholine belongs to a phospholipids’ class known as ‘essential phospholipids’. Even though structure is a bit similar to the other phospholipids, there’re certain differences which have loads of effects on well-being and health of body of yours. The most distinguished physical differences between Phosphatidylcholine and simple phospholipids are polyunsaturated vital chains of fatty acids and choline head which go on to make up tail.
Vital fatty acids’ health-promoting power
EFAs, i.e. Essential Fatty Acids are the ones which are necessary for proper health of the body, and which cannot be synthesized by humans. EFAs have two families: Omega-6 and Omega-3. Let’s not get all that technical. Chemical discrimination between Omega-6 and Omega-3 can b determined by position of 1st double bond of carbon as being counted from chain’s end. Such fatty acids can’t be produced by body; hence should be amongst the dietary inclusions.
Advantages of EFAs, i.e. Essential Fatty Acids are given below:
EFAs go on to support nervous, immune, reproductive, and cardiovascular systems. EFAs go on to manufacture as well as repair membranes of cell. This thing would enable the cells of yours of obtaining nutrition on the optimum level and have harmful wastes expelled.
EFAs perform the function of producing prostaglandins, that regulate functions of body like blood pressure, heart rate, fertility, blood clotting, conception, along with having played a role relating to immune functions by the way of having regulated inflammation. EFAs also encourage the body with regards to having fought infection.
EFAs are of great use in terms of proper growth concerned with children, especially for the neural development as well as sensory systems’ maturation. Note that, here, male children tend to have higher heeds in comparison with females. Breast-fed infants and fetuses require appropriate supply in terms of EFAs through dietary intake of mother.
Deficiency of EFA, i.e. Phosphatidylcholine is being linked with various serious conditions of health, like cancer, heart attacks, asthma, insulin resistance, schizophrenia, lupus, obesity, stroke, accelerated aging, postpartum, diabetes, ADHD, arthritis, and ‘Alzheimer’s Disease’, amongst all the others. Omega-3s get used in forming cell walls, thereby having made them flexible and supple, and having improved oxygen uptake and circulation with proper function and flexibility of RBCs, i.e. Red Blood Corpuscles.
Deficiencies of Omega-3 are associated with mental abilities and decreased memory, tingling sensation on the part of nerves, blurred vision, increased tendency of having formed blood clots, diminutive immune function, bad levels of ‘cholesterol’, increased triglycerides, impaired functioning of brain, hypertension, learning disorders, irregular heart beats, menopausal discomfort, and retardation of growth in pregnant women, children, and infants. Certain Omega-6s enhance rheumatoid arthritis, diabetic neuropathy, PMS, help in treatment of cancer, skin disorders, i.e. eczema and psoriasis.
Significant importance of choline
Even though human beings go on with synthesis of choline in little amounts, body doesn’t produce sufficient amount as per its requirements. Majority of choline in human body has been located in the compound called Phosphatidylcholine. Other compounds, along with choline, which are formed from it work towards the fulfillment of many significant functions.
Choline is utilized in synthesis of human-cell membranes’ structural components. Phospholipids, sphingomyelin, and Phosphatidylcholine, which contain choline are the pre-cursors for intracellular messenger-molecules, like ceramide and diacylglycerol. Choline is being made use of for making cell-signaling molecules, PAF, i.e. platelet activating factor, and sphingophosphorycholine.
Bryan Reese is a scientific researcher specializing in the fascinating area of memory enhancement has created the most effective scientific formula that positively affects a person
Memorization problems such as forgetting simple errands your Mom asked you to do this morning or scribbling on a paper, recalling what you were just about to write down are both serious signs that you need to pay extra attention to your memory and your ability of doing it, which is memorizing.
But you must realize that these simple acts of forgetfulness do happen to anybody of any age range. Due to the various and hundreds of things which a person needs to think about in a day, naturally, omitting one or two things from your To-do list could happen.
There are cases though, when these incidents happen almost too often. Like for example, a friend tells you something about what you will be doing after two weeks and you end up forgetting it or a lesson you just studied two nights ago simply slipped off of your mind as if you never have read any details of it. These are serious symptoms that show your memory could be dwindling slowly and that despite your age, because memory problems can affect anyone, the activities are exposed to could be the culprit as to how you retain important information.
Aside from what you do daily, the food you eat could cause memory problems too. The brain nutrients and for you to be able to think clearly, vitamin B and amino acids should be taken properly through the food you eat.
As for other things, if you have been depressed lately or under stress for some time now, better check on what you can do to keep your mind away from these unhealthy and unfriendly memory-causing factors. Be mentally and physically active. A good oxygen supply to the brain also helps a person in thinking clearly and logically. You can do this by leading an active lifestyle.
Mental exercises keep your mind agile to the information you need to keep solely for the brain. These could be the things that your need to remember for school. Exercising your mind with memory exercises help make it a lot easier to condition it and maintain its basic function – to maintain proper thinking.
Do what it takes to keep your mind busy. It’s the most natural and healthy way of keeping it stagnant which causes memory problems.
Shareen Aguilar is a writer for Memory Improvement Techniques which has Memory Improvement Books and Memory Game Software.
It has been scientifically proven that our bodies evolve to respond to stressors by altering the physiology to react the right way to the stressor. However, when we come across a stressor that is symbolic to our bodies the body alters itself the way it did before but may not react the same.
Because of this, we build up what are known as stress products. Instead of using these stress products we “grin and bear it”, so to speak. Doing this can result in many different types of illnesses and diseases when we do not deal with stressors in a healthy manner or the stress reaction is chronic.
In fact, medical research has proven that people who always seem to be anxious and stressed out produce stress hormones. Stress hormones such as cortisol can have harmful effects on the brain cells. Therefore you should make it a priority everyday to take time for yourself and relax.
It doesn’t matter what you do to relax just find something you enjoy doing that will take all your stress and let it fade away. Did you know that a poor memory is often the result of having a poor self image? It’s true, which means in order to keep you mind healthy you need to believe that you can do anything you set your mind to.
It is very important to take care of your brain and heart, which can be done by having good blood circulation. Cardiovascular workouts like walking are great ways of getting you blood pumping and helping your brain produce new cells. If walking bores you, try other cardiovascular workouts like some sports or jogging.
Did you know that exercising can lessen your chance of having a problem with high blood pressure? This is true and having high blood pressure can also lead to memory loss when you get older. This means you need to get up off the couch and get some exercise. Exercise can help you by not only keeping you fit but also sharpening you memory.
Exercising you mind is another important thing to do to keep it from having problems later on in life. You can do this by playing games that make you think or watching, reading, or listening to something educational. You also need to make it a point to learn new things and have new experiences often.
If you feel that you have taken good care of your brain and you still are having problems with memory loss it is time to go see your doctor. Memory loss can be a symptom of more serious health problems that can go on for years without ever being noticed. The only thing that does not go unnoticed is the memory loss.
Unfortunately, everyone has to deal with stress and anxiety breaking their concentration on the things that are important. It happens to everyone, which means that you are not alone. Everyone needs to learn to deal with their stress and anxiety to continue to live long, healthy lives and have healthy brains.
Short-term stress can be helpful when a person really needs to concentrate the hardest. For example, when you have a deadline on a project for school or work that is coming up quick you can work hard and fast to get it finished on time. However, it is almost the exact opposite when it comes to long-term stress.
This is because your body starts putting more chemicals into the brain like adrenaline to keep you moving and others to help you focus. While at first this can be a good thing you can really begin to have problems if it is long term. Then you end up in this harmful cycle telling yourself you have to finish it and you need to concentrate.
Therefore, instead of pushing yourself you need to stop and take a break. Relax for a bit and stop trying so hard. You know that you need to get your project done by a certain time by if you can’t get it finished because you are stressed out and pushing yourself its not going to do you any good.

Cruising the internet one can find many articles written about the ‘death of dial-up.’ What might surprise the average reader are the dates attached to such articles. When did the scale finally tip, and broadband customers outweighed dial-up customers at long last? While most people would guess 1997, the real answer is 2007. Just three years ago the same number of people were subscribing to dial-up as broadband internet. Today, three short years later, the world is completely wired for high speed internet. In fact, most of the search engines, websites and internet features the average person uses on a daily basis are too heavy to be used with dial-up. That doesn’t change the fact, however, that many people are still stuck with it. While many areas of states like Arkansas and Indiana are well wired to a terrestrial broadband network like DSL or cable, others are still off the network map in no man’s land. These internet customers can choose between dial-up, or dial-up, or, now, finally a second option, satellite internet broadband.
Those in favor of dial-up see it as a simpler way of life, when always-on internet convenience meant people didn’t spend as much time online. What they fail to leave out is that people didn’t use the internet as much because it was a complete pain in the neck to dial in, and then half the time you’d get kicked off anyway! Like it or not the world is all about sending large files online, media sharing, and internet information. There are people that go to college, work, play, date and basically live online. Even though it might not be the most wholesome way to live, it is a reality. These people need an internet connection they can count on like a satellite broadband connection, and not some outdated dial-up 56k modem connection.
Granted, Arkansas and Indiana are states with vast farmlands where high speed internet might not be such a priority, but new generations of businessmen and women are looking to the internet to improve life for everything from recreation to even things like farming. Not everyone has to agree that using a high speed connection to be instant messaging and social networking is the right thing to do, in fact, it’s almost certainly not, but that is to deny all the great things a tool like the internet can accomplish. When the world is instantaneously connected, society can see far more clearly the ‘big picture,’ and how the world is interconnected. This kind of empathy and compassion is certainly needed in today’s society of fear and ‘terror,’ however, learning these lessons means using the internet in a positive way and not letting the pedantic applications take over. For those looking to step into the future and leave dial-up behind, a service they are still stuck using, it’s time to look into satellite internet broadband. As current dial-up users will have noticed, those that complain the most about broadband internet being worse for society than dial-up, probably still have a broadband DSL or cable subscription! Don’t let them get you down, make the right decision for you computing needs with satellite internet.

Self ImprovementObservation is the sufficient tactic of all tactics employed that will help you sharpen the mind. In fact, researchers as well as others interested in observation, has proven that observation is the one of the ultimate strategies to sharpen the mind.I grew up using observation as my guide to survive. Unfortunately, my parents had little value on education, and the only time we went to school was at what time the parents felt they would get in trouble. Furthermore, I was not permitted to be in the house while my mother cooked, therefore, I had no teacher. Still, I learnt to cook by observation. I loved potato salad and slaw, so I observed carefully into the ingredients of bowls were other people cooked and went home and prepared the slaw and potato salad myself. I cooked some of the best potato salads, Macaroni Salads, and slaw of anyone around. All this from observing, yet the point are observing sharpens the mind.If you are studying, the best idea is to study in shorter spans. If you sit for hours at a desk, it will soon frustrate the mind. Like exercising if you over exert self you will workout without getting good results. However, as you study observes the details you read. This will help sharpen your mind and prepare you for tests.Another great idea while studying is taking notes. This too will help you to backtrack and review what you learnt. It is always good to review, preview, and practice. This great strategy will help sharpen your mind. Furthermore, previewing should be the first step, since you review statements, work, and other details before you jump into it.Observation is noting facts that come your way. The facts will help you to construct a memory that will have evidence. The mind works in mysterious ways, however you don
Throughout the Continental USA and worldwide many memory enthusiasts are saying, “How can I improve memory?” I intend to answer this question with precision and accuracy. If you want to build a strong memory you have to use proven methods that encode information in the brain. “Brain Encoding Method” should be interesting and motivating as well as stimulate the brain to encode.
Prior to using brain encoding method(s) you may need basic restoration, maintenance and repairing of the mind. This article will expose the secret to prevent your brain from being attacked. Through years of observation I have witnessed many people using illegal controlled substances, alcohol and even eating the wrong foods, in which their unhealthy habits attacked the brain. Let us focus and concentrate on changing a few consumption habits to help repair, restore, energize and boost the brain to optimize encoding information.
Change is the most courageous and transforming word, but a curse word to many. You should consider changing from brain encoding methods that do not work to using proven brain encoding methods that work. Typically change occurs when most people face exigent circumstances, which forces you to embrace change. However changing your brain encoding methods can be the best choice you’ll ever make.
You’re about to discover (4) four simple ways to improve memory and prepare the brain for optimal encoding.
One you should get adequate sleep, which cause the mind to perform better. You should at least sleep 6-8 hours per day to restore and replenish the mind. A healthy rested mind is a great asset whenever you’re trying to encode information in the brain..
Two you should drink adequate water, which cause the brain to naturally boost and energize. Your body and brain tissue is made up of 90-95% water. It is highly recommended to consume at least 10 glasses of water per day.
Three you should consume the correct memory foods that boost and energize. The correct food consumption can determine the amount of information that you remember. Some Memory foods help fight against free radical diseases that cause memory loss. The benefits you receive from consuming Fruits and Vegetables with omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin B, B6 and B12 are powerful brain foods. It is highly recommended to snack on brain foods while you’re studying to boost, energize and stimulate the brain as well as help your brain encode information. Also consuming fish with omega-3 fatty acids can help fight against free radical diseases that cause memory loss.
Four you should consume vitamin supplements with memory foods to boost, energize and stimulate the mind to learn. Vitamin Supplements in most cases are used whenever the body is deficient in vitamins, however consuming your memory foods and vitamins together. Your vitamins alone are unable to assimilate and digest without consuming food.
The average person in pursuit of improving their memory should incorporate a well-balanced memory diet.
The main reason for focusing on the above four ways is to guide you in the right direction. These simple ways to improve memory can restore, energize and position you to practice healthy brain encoding methods, which will increase the amount of information that your brain encode. Most people unknowingly build upon an unhealthy mind, but our goal and focus is to build upon a healthy, vibrant and energetic mind for optimal learning.
Your days of overworking the brain and being nutritionally deficient can cease. Let’s re-iterate the 4 steps above:(1) Enough Sleep, which is 6-8 hours per day (2) Enough Water, which is 10 glasses per day (3) Enough Memory Foods, fruits, vegetables and (4) Enough vitamin supplements this may require a memory diet plan. You should consult with a license medical practitioner.
A healthy mind can encode information much better as well as help fight against toxic pollutants that attack the brain from functioning properly.
My question is how can we practice these amazing methods of encoding information in the brain? The answer to this question can be a simple click away, however let’s focus on encoding information for short-term, long-term and sensory memory, which is the most sought after secret amongst the memory improvement world. You may be seeking a true method to memorize important and relevant information. However brain encoding methods are truly the key to the kingdom of memory improvement. Encoding information in the brain affords you the ability to literally recall information at your command. Just like any athlete who trains the body to perform. You must train the brain to encode valuable and relevant information. I use proven brain encoding methods, because my quality of life depends on it. I believe that anybody can learn how recall important facts, figures, dates and information. Your brain creates your thoughts; then your thoughts manifest into action, which means what you encode in the brain can manifest into a reality.
Remember you have absolutely nothing without a good working memory that gets results. Encoding information in the brain is the most powerful way to recall information, in which your memory will obey your command.

To keep the memory sharp, it is important to maintain vision. Relaxation is the key to maintain vision for many years. Vision and mental focus go hand in hand and both donÂ’t do well with strain and stress. Relaxation and inner peace is important in remembering things. All these things rely on each other to work properly.A great way to test the condition of the eyes is a mental memory exercise. In this exercise, the goal is to maintain a visual image for as long as possible. To start, cover one eye and glance quickly at a letter on the page with the other eye. Close your eyes and hold the image of the letter in your mind as long as possible. Count how many seconds the image stays in your mind before fading away to darkness. Take note of this number. Do the same thing for the other eye and compare the results. Now relax the eyes and try again. One way to relax the eyes is to close them and concentrate only on pleasant thoughts and good memories. Allow your eyes to focus on the darkness and forget everything around you. Open your eyes and try the exercise again. Hopefully the results are different and the image stayed longer the second time around. If not, you may need to find some eye relaxing exercises and work on removing the strain.Vision affects memory. We need the vision to see the image. The more clearly we see the image the more detail we can recall on later. Focusing on the positive events will help keep the mind relaxed and the eyes free of strain. The following exercise will help you relax and improve your memory. Try it tonight. While lying in bed tonight focus on all the positive things that happened throughout the day. Picture the events of the in as much detail and color as possible. Try picturing your lunch or the clothes the person who complimented you was wearing. Focusing on the positive will clear your mind, relax the body, and give you a better nightÂ’s sleep.Removing the strain from the eyes will not only improve your vision it will also improve your memory.
Dr William H. Bates was born in 1860 in New Jersey, USA and he died in 1931. He graduated from Cornell University in 1881 and received his medical degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1885. He established a practice in New York and worked for a time as clinical assistant at the Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital. He was also a physician at Bellevue Hospital in 1886-88, and at the New York Eye Infirmary, the Northern Dispensary and the North-eastern Dispensary in 1886-96. From 1886-1891 he was an instructor in Ophthalmology at the New York Postgraduate Medical School and Hospital. In 1896 Dr Bates gave up his hospital work for several years of research work, coming back to New York as attending physician in the Harlem Hospital from 1907-22.In 1919 he published the only book he ever wrote, “Perfect eyesight without glasses”, where he described all his work on the eyeÂ’s functioning. From 1921 – 1931 he published the Journal ‘Better Eyesight’ which comprises a mixture of excerpts from his book and later case notes and other writings.
Bates wondered why people who wore glasses for a while didn’t develop better vision, but tended to need stronger and stronger glasses. After years of experiments Dr Bates proved that the eye is easily trained and that unstrained eyes are unaffected by stress, old age or doing close work.Bates proved that nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and crossed eye are caused by chronically tense external eye muscles, and that this tension, created by strained mental and physical vision habits acquired during a period of stress, is reversible. The Bates Method has been generally misunderstood and thought of as some sort of ‘eye gymnastics’ designed to supposedly ‘strengthen the eye muscles’. This is completely wrong. Dr Bates based his work on the principle of relaxation to bring about coordination of eye and brain allowing vision to ‘happen’. And also by increasing awareness and perception, whether one is reading a book, using a computer, playing sports or looking at a friend.
Some people are endowed with a photographic memory as they only need to see things once and the image remains with them throughout their life. While there are still those who suffer from Alzheimer’s and are known to have a low IQ. So the real question is why some people have a photographic memory while others are stripped of whatever memory they have left.
We get 50% of our brain power through our genes and the remaining 50% is derived through the interaction with our environment. This may mean that some are born intelligent and some get intelligence because of the environment that they live in. This could mean that people who are born smart may become genius if they live in an educated surrounding.
The brain is also like a muscle and the best thing that you can do to increase your brain power is to involve yourself in activities that will contribute in making you increase your brain power. It needs to be exercised and stretched out to make it more flexible by reading and challenging yourself mentally.
According to the latest research doctors recommend people to involve themselves in more brain activity as this helps them avoid mental decline. So the harder you work the more powerful your brain becomes. Medical tests have shown that people who are constantly exposed to brain activity shows better scores than the others. People who are stagnant and don’t involve themselves in mental exercises tend to show decline in mental capacities.Genetics can cause specific growth in certain parts of the brain just like the effects of environment on different parts of the brain.Exercises for a Photogenic Memory:
People who want to enhance their memory and learning skills should try to follow these exercises as this way they will have active brains and will not fall prey to different mental problems.
You can start by walking around and looking at specific scenes around you and then after carefully studying it for 10 to 15 minutes, jot down all you have seen. Then you would return and compare the things you remembered. This will be a self appraisal test that will help you determine your state of mind. This type of activity helps your brain to find things that you have missed writing down.
Always involve yourself in different activities as the brain never sleeps and the best way you can make it healthy is by constantly involving yourself in activities that use your thinking skills. This way you will surely end up with a photographic memory.

Did you know that maintaining the memory, in a sound state, is essential to keeping the brain healthy as well? Most often, your activities, to a great extent, rest on an assortment of information you recover from your memory bank. This information can be either short-term memory (which is a holding a small amount of information in mind like: remembering particular tasks that you have to do) or long-term memory (which is the ability to store information indefinitely so that you can use it again at a later date). While long-term memory comes without too much effort when you need it, short-term memory necessitates remembering information from the collection of things stored in your memory. This is why you must keep your memory in an excellent state so that you can accomplish productivity in your everyday activities.
The following are five tips for memory improvement:
1. You must always concentrate your attention on the required data that you want to remember. Even with interruptions around you, stay concentrated on what you are doing. The more you concentrated: the better the chances of remembering the data you want to remember.
2. Apply the best sense or senses when collecting data. This is what is called acuity in sensing your surroundings. For example, be attentive to the colours and specifics of a picture, or the specific sound or smell of what you want to remember. All your bodily senses are used to gather data depending on the situation at hand. While your sense of vision might be the most applied in assembling data, your senses of hearing, smell, taste, and touch are similarly significant and useful in recalling all kinds of things.
3. If you think that the material you are about to remember is going to be a little difficult to recollect then the best thing to do then, is to write it down. This can be useful in assembling very long and boring information, things like lecture notes, or a personal interview.
4. Remember to make sure that you have plenty of rest and sleep. You need it to keep you invigorated from the wearisome demand of work. So take time out to relax. Steer clear from stress and worry as much as possible. Also sidestep the tendency of saying to yourself, “I might forget it” because you’re a lot more likely to if you constantly say that phrase to yourself because this only increases your anxiety level.
5. As the body grows old, memory starts to diminish: but a robust memory will certainly improve the quality of your life. You can greatly strengthen the quality of your memory by constantly training your memory through reading and further cognitive undertakings like getting into the practise of deciphering crossword puzzles, or doing mental arithmetic The more you do these activities, the better memory retention is improved. Good luck!
